Nightmare. Booking, block this place!! Go and visit it your self and you will be astonished.

Nothing it was an unhealthy place to stay. Lifts are smelly, tou have to do the checking yourself whilst the receptionist look at you doing nothing. All rooms are the same, no sheets on the beds, everything’s is worn out, sheets, matrix, curtains. And when you smell the sheets they are not clean, you have stained duvets, my 7y/o even found bugs walking around the walls. It is a nightmare. I took several photos and compared them with the official booking and m, there must be 90% photoshop. Do not go with your family!!! Run away. You will find drug dealers and strange people coming in and out! I was refunded ( still waiting for the payment) and change hotel at midnight with my two kids in their pijamas.

Great location-tram and sbahn stops right outside. Good value for money.

The rooms are TINY-much smaller than advertised. The staff were AWFUL. So rude and dismissive. Really unhelpful. Other than that, property is totally fine, and just as expected for a hostel!

I really enjoyed my stay at a&o Frankfurt Galluswarte. The place was nice and comfortable, and the location is super convenient with easy access to the city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even nicer. Overall, a great place to stay in Frankfurt!

The only thing I didn’t like is that some guests don’t clean up after themselves in the kitchen. People, come on – you’re not kids, nobody should have to clean up your dirty dishes for you. Aside from that, it’s a great place

If you travel on a budget this is the right choice

I chose A&O at this location because it was close to public transportation with access to S-bahne and the tram, as well as buses. The station is basically 10 meters away from the hotel which was very convenient. It is also close to the central area and the business district (if you appreciate towers and such). The room was a bit small as I did not have enough space to go to my bed without hugging one of the pillars present in the room but you can also launch yourself from the end of it and problem solved. I cannot comment on the breakfast as I chose not to have it there. Oh and close by there is an indoor food court, not too big, but there is a variety of options which can suit a lot of picky foodies.

The cleanliness needs some serious improvement.

it is really hot in summer. No fan and no ac. One staff of south asian origin cannot speak german and he was careless while doing his job. He forgot to activate the keycard for my room and i had to go back down to lobby to ask him to activate the card.

The curtains were not even long enough to cover the entire window. Quite a weird choice which made it impossible to keep the light out, with sunrise.

It was a pretty good stay after the check-in, but that delay messed up with my schedule.

I booked a room with 8 bunk beds, they are pretty comfortable and the facilities are good overall. Also the shared bathroom is within the room, what makes it easier to use it at night.

The check-in time was too long, I waited almost 1 1/2 hours and there was only one person from staff doing the check-in at the determined time (3pm) at a saturday afternoon.

Worth the money and great location!

The location is great and the staff was quite helpful. The initial room given to us for not clean, and the flush did not work. However, the staff provided us with a different room shortly.

The toilet could have been clean. I found some hair strands in the toilet and bathroom.

I was first assigned to a ground floor rom in an adjacent building and my group was in another building. I like the fact that it was very easy to change the room and be in the same floor.

The bathroom was very dirty and the bath towels available in the room were of the size of hand towel.

Room and service was of very low quality. Unexpected

There is no house keeping that comes to clean up the rooms. Towels have to be taken from the reception. Breakfast options are very limited and if you go late there is nothing available. After breakfast you have to clear away the plates yourself. Sheets are dirty and there is no wardrobe to hang or keep clothes.

There is only 1 receptionist to handle all the customers

Pay up to stay somewhere nicer. Too far from train station and city center

It was cheaper than other options in the city. Though it’s 25 mins walk from train station through a stream of people smoking crack (actual crack).

My bed wasn’t ready when I checked in at 4 pm (though check in is 3 pm) and was told to wait for 10 mins. After 20 mins I went upstairs and she was still in the room. One of my roommates was lounging so I don’t know if she didn’t want to disturb but she didn’t clean the bathroom and I’m not sure I received a clean fitted sheet. I ended up sleeping in the comforter sheet like a sleeping bag with no comforter inside it (just me). The floor was filthy.

location and luggage storage room free of charge

room was dirty when i arrived, i took the only clean bed available. Every traveller that arrived had to go to the reception to grab clean sheets and towel. kitchen was absolutely disgusting. You could see that the fridge had not been cleaned for a long time. Day before I check out I decided to do laundry and after washing my clothes, i pay to dry but dryer was not working. There was no sign saying it was out of order. Reception guy told me they could not refund me and couldn’t help me. That I could go dry my clothes in a laundromat. So Sunday night, 8pm, i had to walk 10 min in the rain carting 5kg of wet clothes and pay again to dry it. Horrible service and they did not give me my money back.

It’s was okay.

The receptionists was very kind.

I stayed 3 nights and the housekeeping didn’t came to clean the room. The last day I noticed that they took only the trash but didn’t clean at all. I was with my one year old baby and the furniture were unsafe for her as she is walking and she couldn’t stay in one place any more. She hit herself in the bed which the bed were from metal. I don’t recommend for family with little kids.

It's okay for the price.

Everything was okay, hostel wise, you get a towel and a metal box to store your belongings. Don't forget to bring earplugs, Powerbank, and a good lock.

8/10 for this: VERY UNDERSTAFFED, The insane long line to check-in (it took >30min) , for my entire stay this point didn't improve. given the high volume of check ins and teenagers running everywhere. It's understandable that the staff are frustrated and tired. I don't blame them.
