Our family visited during the winter season. The property was warm with working heaters and heated blankets on each bed as well as extra mink blankets. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed. We stayed in the motel 1 + 2 which is good for family with kids as it has an interlocking door and two full bathrooms, good hot showers with good shower pressure. Everything was clean and ready to use. Glad that there were extra towels as we spent a lot of time swimming.
On check in the room smelt like cigarettes however we opened up the windows to air it out, no other issues.
Would be better if the spa was bigger and the main pool was warm.

The location for the beach is great
No response to a query about a check in time.
No clue that the shop and the food/drink options would be shut when I arrived (2015) and I've checked again on the info on booking.com and can't find anything there.
No instructions provided for late check in leaving me wandering around until I saw a box on the shop which had keys in.
Because the shop was closed, I wasn't able to source a shovel for the low tide in the morning, the whole reason I'd stayed.
I'm sure it's a great place for families with the pool facilities etc, but lack of response and incomplete information a real let down.
