Designed for slower stays, quiet weekends and time away from the city, this charming two-bedroom cottage feels wonderfully removed from everyday life. Wake to uninterrupted views across the valley, make a coffee and step onto the wraparound veranda, or settle into the reading nook with a book and nowhere you need to be.
Inside, the cottage is warm, comfortable and full of character. The light-filled living area opens directly onto the covered deck, framing sweeping views across the surrounding farmland. There’s plenty of room to relax together, while the dedicated reading and writing area provides a peaceful spot to work, read or perhaps start that novel you’ve been meaning to write.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, along with a Nespresso machine, coffee and tea. A dining table for four makes evenings in easy, while the surrounding countryside provides the backdrop.
French doors open the living area onto the wraparound covered deck, where you can sit with your morning coffee, enjoy an afternoon glass of wine or simply watch the light change across the hills.
The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the second with two single beds that can be configured as a king. Both are prepared with hotel-quality linen for a comfortable stay.
Beyond the cottage, guests are welcome to explore the shared paddock and follow the track down through the property to the natural stream. You may even meet some of the resident sheep along the way.
An Chroi Villa is located approximately 100 metres away on the same property and may be occupied by other guests. The two homes are positioned so they feel completely private from one another and cannot see into each other`s spaces. Villa guests do, however, use the track in front of the cottage to access the shared paddock and creek, so you may occasionally see guests walking past.
For larger groups or complete use of both homes, the villa and cottage can also be booked together as a full-property stay.
