Spoilt by noise

The drive up to the hotel and village was great .We we’re booked in by a charming young lady who seemed to be Jack of all trades as later she was Waitrose and behind bar.Both are meals were good,I had Pork Steak and my wife had Wienesnitchel ..Guy serving the drinks could have been a bit more cheerful .

Our room was room overlooking the front of hotel.Unfortunately for us there was three or four out there drinking and making a hell of a din until two in morning.We shut windows but as there was no air conditioning in room it was so hot.I don’t know if they were guests or locals,but surely a member of staff could have asked them to keep noise down,So we both had bad night. We went down for breakfast and what was left did not look very appealing so we checked out and left. So a good start to stay and a poor finish

Would never come back

Receptionist was polite tried to help as as much as possible. By mistake we ordered 2 rooms so he managed to solve it. That's a good bit. But that's booking platform mistake. We travel with 6 years old kid( means 3rd person so they automatically added 2nd room for her)

Bar smells sweat. Came in room was no bedding present, came back to reception, brought some, but still was missing pillow so broght own from car. We had some dinner and tried to pay for it. Girl didn't speak English, so she decided not to take payment. Waited 15mins by the till then walked up in the room and paid in the morning. Locals tried to chat with my Mrs, followed up to the car. Not nice behaviour but not bar's fault. Just locals which very well known by barmen as they chatted a lot. After that incident they spoke in German and was about us and laughed loud. I know only few words in German so avoid problems I left restaurant/bar early.

ehrlich dörflich und ausreichend gut ausgestattet, incl. Saunabereich. Chef, Chefin & alle anderen sind kommunikativ und freundlich. Für Gäste wird bei Bedarf für den örtlichen Verkehr das hauseigene Taxi kostenfrei angeboten. Küche ist sehr flott, punktgenau vom Geschmack.

Dobro razmerje med ceno in kakovostjo.

Zelo dober zajtrk, odlična lokacija, udobna soba, prijazno osebje, sodobna shramba za smuči.

V restavraciji jedel najslabši dunajski zrezek v Avstriji do sedaj. Razočarala me je kopalnica. Vedel sem, da je zunaj sobe, nisem si pa mislil, da, sredi zime, ne bo ogrevana.

Zelo prijazno osebje, zelo obilen zajtrk, vse kar si poželiš in poješ, ko greš na smučanje je to zelo dobrodošlo. V ceno je bila vključena tudi savna, top. Zelo prijetne sobe, ne premajhne, zelo udobne. Imajo tudi skiroom kjer ti posušijo smuči in pancarje, da imaš naslednji dan suhe in tople. Nudijo tudi večerje, super hrana, zmerne porcije.

- Frühstücksangebot könnte deutlich vielfältiger sein (z.B. mehrere Brötchensorten, besseres Müsli,mehr Käse / Wurstauswahl) - Laute Kirchglocken 6:00 Uhr früh (dafür kann aber die Unterkunft nichts)

Gemütliches Wochenende zum Start in die Skisaison

Dort ist man sehr um den Gast bemüht; all unsere Anliegen wurden prompt erledigt. Die Lage etwas abseits der Lifte wird durch ein flexibles Taxiservice wettgemacht. Gute bodenständige Küche, moderner, großzügiger Saunabereich

Dass anfangs das Frühstücksbuffet etwas reduziert war, dürfte am Saisonbeginn mit schwacher Belegung gelegen haben. Es wurde auf Nachfrage und mit täglicher Steigerung dann umfangreicher (mehrere Brotsorten, Gemüse, Obst, Croissant, etc)

Schönes Wochenende in Kals

Zentrale Lage in Kals, gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Geräumiges Zimmer. Für uns war es ein Glücksfall, dass wir Anfang August die Heizung aufdrehen konnten, um unsere nassen Wandersachen zu trocknen und uns nach einer verregneten Wanderung aufzuwärmen. Nette, zuvorkommende Besitzerin, die spät Abends ihren Schwiegervater für einen handwerklichen Notfall an der Zimmertür herbeirief.

Leider waren die Matratzen etwas zu weich.

Gemischte Gefühle

Das Frühstücksbuffet war völlig okay. Man kann im Ködnitzhof ganztägig bis 21 Uhr essen. Man hat mir ein Doppelzimmer bei Einzelbelegung zur Verfügung gestellt.

Das DoZi war nicht groß. Ausgestattet mit einer dritten Schlafmöglichkeit sogar zur Belegung zu dritt?? Dann wird es aber richtig eng! In dem kleinen Bad keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeit für Toilettenartikel. Keine Badematte: Auf Nachfrage erklärte man mir, dass man bei Einzelübernachtungen keine Matte geben würde. Da ich aber mehrere Nächte gebucht hatte sei dies ein Versehen. Bekommen habe ich aber trotzdem keine!! Bezeichnend: Ich hatte morgens von der Frühstücksfee ein kleines Handtuch als Bademattenersatz bekommen. Abends fand ich dann ds kleine Handtuch ausgetauscht- nicht gegen eine Badematte sondern ein neues kleines Handtuch! Der Ton des Personals war gemischt: Frühstückskellnerin warcam ersten morgen genervt am zweitrn ging's. Putzpersonal verstand teilweise kein Deutsch und ältere Dame die ich vormittags ansprach während sie den Zimmerservice anwies, war leicht snobbisch, nonchalant, arrogant - die Chefin?

Tiene aparcamiento en las inmediaciones gratis y sin reservar. Tiene sauna y una máquina expendedora además de restaurante en la parte de abajo. La habitación tenía balcón y el tamaño estaba bien. Tiene ascensor. Dejan perros y también dejan entrar con ellos a la zona de desayunos.

El desayuno era poco variado.

Der Ort ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Hochgebirgsexpeditionen auf dem Glockner.

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, ebenso wie das Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und achtet auf Details. Als ich eines Nachmittags draußen auf der Terrasse eine Zigarre rauchte, brachte mir der Kellner einen speziellen Aschenbecher für Zigarren... Es ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber man merkt, dass sie auf ihre Gäste achten.

Als ich den Deckel und den Toilettensitz anhob, stellte ich fest, dass es nicht sehr sauber war, ansonsten war alles in Ordnung.

Für eine Nacht ok, für einen längeren Urlaub nicht zu empfehlen

Haus von außen ansprechend. Check in war vor der offiziellen check in-Zeit möglich. Sauna mit Frischluftaufentalt.

Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es fehlt aber an Gemütlichkeit. Bett/Matratzen sind unbequem, in Dusche + Waschbecken waren Haare, die weder von mir noch von meinen Mann stammten. Zimmer ist hellhörig, man hört alle Laufgeräusche sowie das Gemurmel der Zimmernachbarn. Beim Essen muss man wohl die Höhenlage mitbezahlen, ansonsten sind die Preise etwas zu hoch. Wer helle Brötchen mag findet diese beim Frühstück in ausreichender Menge, Körnerbrötchen/-brot war schnell weg und wurde, solange wir frühstückten, nicht mehr aufgefüllt.

Le dîner au restaurant était très bien avec de bons produits

Petit déjeuner: pas de charcuterie locale et pas de fromage locale. Que de l’industriel. Salle de bain très vieille porte de douche qui coince et pomme de douche pas pratique pour régler. Le matelas de très mauvaise qualité en mousse et très molle. Emplacement très loin de la route mithique le grosskleckner.

Einfache, aber gut gelegene Unterkunft

Gute Lage für unsere Motorradtour. Zum Frühstück bekommt man gebratenes Ei angeboten.

Das Gebäude scheint alt, die Fenster sind nahezu nicht schallisoliert. Wenn der gegenüberliegende Glockenturm erklingt, steht man senkrecht im Bett. Beim Frühstück wurde nie nachgefragt. Man ist als Gast aktiv und sucht die Bedienung, wenn man zum Beispiel einen weiteren Kaffee möchte.
