Friendly stay at a pretty village

The location was very pretty in a small austrian town, I love the little church/chapel out in front of the property. The staff were very friendly and tried to help wherever possible. My main highlight was the breakfast, it was very good with a very wide selection of products to chose from. One of the staff would also prepare eggs with bacon for you on request, either stirred or sunny side up. Very delicious.

For this trip I booked two different rooms because we were coming with 5 people total. It would have been nice if these rooms were close or next to each other. Because right now they were on completely different floors, which made communicating with the others hard. Also sadly the wifi speeds were very slow (1-10mbps), which was just about usable.

We enjoyed the food a lot. The cooks are very skilled, and the quantity is filling. Truly a mountain dinner! The personnel is very helpful, professional, and also quite informal which we appreciate. The rooms are nice a clean, everything is functional.

Perfect quiet farm-stay to rest, relax, hike , and short distance to ski slopes

The Steiner family and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Their guesthouse was charming and they made great regional dishes. Would recommend for skiers or hikers with family.

Big parking space. Just a few minutes drive by car to the Matrei ski resort. Nice balcony.

The drain of water in a shower did not work properly. Compared to my last visit, the breakfast quality has gone down. I missed dry salami, more vegetables, and different types of bread. Dogs should stay out of the dining area during breakfast.

Beautiful and cozy room in a beautiful place

We stayed only one night on our trip back to Italy but we loved this place! The room was beautiful, large, quite and cozy. With a balcony and a very nice view. The staff was really nice and kind, there is a sign that says “Mit unserem Motto kommen als Gast, gehen als Freund” and I have to say that it is the truth! You enter as a guest and you leave as a friend! Great dinner and breakfast too.

I can highly recommend

Very quiet and peaceful place. Small location with several houses 5 minutes drive from Goldried bergbahnen in Matrei. Perfect cuisine. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. Cleaning every day, pleasant nice smell room. It is a family farm with local products. We appreciate the pleasantly heated room after skiing. Kind and helpful owners.

the staff was super nice and helpful with all our random needs, and they were truly interested about our mountaineering trip that we were starting from there. The kitchen is quite fast and serves delicious traditional food, I highly recommend them!

Friendly hotel near Grossglockner

The staff are super friendly. The breakfast is amazing. My wife loved the eggs to order option. The restaurant is really good for an evening meal. The location is very serene.

Towels are a little stiff but may possibly be due to not using fabric softener for environmental reasons,,? If that's the case I don't have a problem with it. Bathroom was a little tight in our room.

Unfortunately we didn't sleep much the second night. Our room was above the restaurant where the party was overnight and disturbed us.

Great place in Osttirol

The room was clean and tidy, staff - very nice and welcoming. A very good experience in overall.

For me personally the sound of the river outside was quite noisy and made me stay awake at nights, therefore I had not so good sleep. But my family members were fine. So it depends on the sensitivity. Also the flies were a bit annoying.

Es war perfekt, für mich außergewöhnlich! Das Zimmer super. Unfassbar gut geschlafen. Das Essen war jeden Abend frisch zubereitet. Kroketten auf der Speisekarte? Nicht einfach Kroketten, sondern selbst gemachte Kartoffelfleckerln. Top. Österreichische Küche. Der Rinderschmorbraten war wahrlich ein Genuss. Chefin außergewöhnlich kunden- und serviceorientiert. Dazu ihre Mitarbeiterin, die alles im Blick hat. Sie bereitet in der Regel das Frühstücksbuffet. Auf kleinem Raum alles da. Und sie bereitet ein so gutes Rührei zu und serviert. Vielen Dank für Euren Service, die tolle Küche, die schönen Zimmer, die Gastfreundschaft. Bleibt so. Wir wollen euch wieder besuchen. Schöne Grüße an alle.

Krásný hotýlek v blízkosti lyžařského střediska. Moc milý personál, hezky vybaveny jednolůžkový pokoj. Vynikající večeře.

Nic zásadního, s pobytem jsem byla spokojena. Pouze dva detaily. V koupelně velmi vysoká toaleta (měřím 170 cm a nedosáhla jsem téměř na zem). A matrace by si zasloužila vyměnit.
