Pensión Iturriza was the perfect place for us to stay in San Sebastian! We saw that it got exceptional ratings and honestly didn't look into it much before coming, but we were pleased by every aspect of our stay! The Location is phenomenal - right around the corner from the gorgeous gothic church in the heart of the old town, and maybe two minutes time walking from some of the best pinxto bars in the city! It was a perfect place to be able to explore from and easily pop back to the room for a rest. Ibor and his wife were lovely hosts - they went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Pensión Iturriza is exceptional! Don't hesitate to stay here!
There are multiple doors to have to key in through to get to your room, but this is totally nitpicking - it's actually a great feature because it provides extra security for you and your belongings.

Excellent location right in the heart of the old town close to the Cathedral and the waterfront. Close to ample bars and restaurants. The host was extremely friendly and helpful with useful advice during our stay.
The only negative was that the walls between the apartments were not very well soundproofed and you could hear the occupants of the neighbouring rooms. That is all.
