Casa Sant'Andrea

The hotel Is strategically positioned very close to Piazzale Roma and the railway station. For us this was ideal since we arrived at Venice airport with a late flight and it was only a 4 minute walk from where the Uber dropped us off. The staff is kind and caring and there is a luggage room where you can leave your bags after checking out if you want to enjoy more time visiting Venice. The room was air-conditioned. Breakfast was included, with a coffee machine where you can select your favourite drink and a selection of sweet and savoury treats. No fresh fruit though, only canned fruit in syrup. Overall a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

There is a lift that can be used for luggage only. It was ok for us, but not ideal for an older person. The room had one double and one single bed to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids ended up sleeping with one of us and the other adult in the single bed. The canal at the front can be busy at times, but it is not that noisy for us since we slept with the windows closed because of the air con.

Simple, comfortable hotel right next to central parking, vaporetto stops for St Marcs and walking distance to Grand Canal.

A/C was good in one room, not quite keeping up in the other room.

Location is great specially if you have a late arrival. The staff was great! They have delicious breakfast included! I totally recommend to stay here!

Close to train station, still walkable to main areas. Helpful staff. Breakfast is very basic. Some croissants, bread, cheese, cold cuts, boiled eggs, juice, coffee, cereal.

The bathroom fan runs for 5 more minutes after you turn off the switch. The toilet tank takes a very loud five minutes to fill. The head board of my bed was very loud and squeaky.
