What an amazing hotel! Not only is it rich in history, it has been preserved beautifully. It really is 5 star luxury but at a really great price. Every single staff member perform to the highest standards, and treat you like you are the most treasured guest. The rooms are huge, the bathrooms are huge. The food and beverages are more than excellent. The pool is fabulous. The grounds are immaculate and kept to the highest standards. I did not want to leave. I was super impressed with every aspect of this wonderful hotel. They also pay great attention to detail, making every part of your stay special. The concierges go above and beyond to help you with any activities or plans you have outside the hotel as well. I would go back right now if I could. I've travelled the world many times and this was by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I cannot wait to return.

The property was an oasis of calm with a heritage feel. Some areas would benefit from an update as they felt a bit tired. However all of the staff were so attentive and it’s all about how you make people feel and all staff we encountered really couldn’t do enough and made great recommendations for our stay. There are too many to mention but Ritam in the Curzon restaurant really looked after us well and a mature waiter in the multi cuisine restaurant tailored meals to our requirements and went out of his way to look after us. We were upgraded upon arrival which was a nice surprise and we really appreciated the extra space.

Breakfast dinning room was a bit tired looking and the quality of breakfast was average compared to other hotel chains. The staff are super helpful and the location was great. Fantastic cocktails and a niice setting in the bar. The Indian restaurant was fabulous . The downside to our stay was a conference was taking place for make up artists at the hotel for the duration of our stay. Drinks cans were left on the window of the room and stairways and public areas were blocked with models and photoshoots. The hotel cannot control the actions of influencers but we found most quite rude e.g. pushing into the lift, photoshoots outside our room and generally not being that respectful/friendly towards other guests who were staying there too. We were really impressed when the hotel asked about dietary requirements prior to arrival. However, it felt like a missed customer service opportunity because nothing was done with that information to personalise our experience although our needs were met. It’s a comfortable hotel with great staff and is good value for money. The key aspect for us was the location and the excellent recommendations given by the concierge and reception. The hotel has a comfortable feel and we would definitely return:-
