    We loved our stay at Neem Haveli. It is wonderful to stay in the restored Haveli with delightful touches everywhere. A sense of calm amidst the chaos of old Delhi. The staff were vey friendly and we really appreciated their support in assisting us to get to our train on departure. We would love to stay again when we are next in Delhi.

    A nicely restored havelli in the depths of old Delhi offering a free and fascinating cultural tour and music and dance performance. While beautifully renovated it didn’t feel the most comfortable stay and far longer and more complicated to get to the station than we’d expected. However we were well supported by 2 very helpful members of staff who accompanied us. All transfers were offered free which was really helpful. Dinner was absolutely delicious and cooked especially for us.

    Neem Haveli was an absolute delight, a true gem in Delhi for any traveller wanting to experiment Indian culture of the arts that is genuine and so informative. I’ve been many times to a Delhi over decades but only now feel to have found an oasis in the city - the haveli restored is gorgeously renovated and gives a taste of the old rich world that was in this area. I highly recommend a stay here, it is very peaceful and you might just see the Clutha of creation come alive, as we did!! Rithik and Ravi were excellent supports across the trip, as was David who guided us across our stay when we need help navigating the old streets which are a magical labyrinth lost in time. A true gem in the city. I will definitely return here and highly recommend.

    The idea of turning an old Haveli into a boutique hotel is great, but this stay was a mixed bag. It can be hard to find, because there is no signage on the building, no instructions provided in advance and there were no staff on hand when we arrived. Definitely not recommended for night arrivals, because you have to walk through several blocks of alleyways, and taxis will not / cannot take you to the location. The rooms themselves are reasonably comfortable, but could use a good scrub for cobwebs and dust. And there is a lot of street noise, plus the hotel/cultural center hosts evening/nighttime events in the courtyard and all rooms open only into the courtyard.
