Darussaade Hotel Old City - Sultanahmet

⚫︎The staff were very kind and helpful. ⚫︎I could see a little bit of the sea from my room, which was lovely. ⚫︎The building is not new, but it was very well maintained and impeccably clean. ⚫︎The breakfast was delicious. I stayed for two nights, and the menu changed slightly each day. The rice pudding for dessert was also absolutely delicious. ⚫︎I could see the Blue Mosque from the breakfast area, which was a wonderful bonus.

⚫︎ It was summer and very hot, so I understand that it may have been difficult to keep the room cool, but the air conditioning was slightly less effective than I expected. ⚫︎The water pressure in the shower was a little weak. Other than that, I had a very comfortable stay.

I stayed at this hotel four years ago, and when I decided to visit Istanbul again, I didn’t hesitate to book a room here. The staff, especially Mr. Ismail and Erfan, are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They are always happy to answer guests’ questions and respond very quickly to messages on WhatsApp. The breakfast is excellent and is served on the rooftop, which offers a beautiful view. The hotel’s location is also excellent, within walking distance of many historical sites and attractions. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Istanbul.

Maybe having an Iron in the room would be nice.
