Best Point Hotel Sultanahmet,Istanbul

The Hotel provides probably the most luxurious and abundant breakfast that I ever had in a Hotel. This is provided on the rooftop restaurant of the Hotel with a stunning view over th Blue Mosque and the Aegean sea as well. We enjoyed it very much. The room was fine, although the interior design is a bit too corny for my taste. The in-built Hamam is a pleasure, and although we could not use it properly (lack of knowledge on our side), we still enjoyed it. The location is fabulously central. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet is literally 3 minutes walk, we are right there. The staff was really friendly, and although the management wanted to convince me to pay part of the bill in cash (which took me for surprise), the manager was not very hard insisting it.

The breakfast closes rather early at 10am, so most of the guest arrive in the last half an hour, - I would suggest to reconsider to prolong at least until 10:30. Since the streat is rather noisy, the windows shall be kept closed and the airconditioning going on 24h to keep the room cool. I would suggest to add more than just a cover blanket for the night (and to add also a sheet), - with the airconditioning on a simple blanket might not be enough for everyone (it wasn't for me, I asked for an additional cover).

If you want it charged to credit card they'll pass onto you the additional 12% credit card fee - You're not be able to sleep past 7:30 with the noise from breakfast commotion and music in the landing - Breakfast is 90% sweets, not a lot of savory options
