Bergland Hotel - Adults only

The woman helping us at the front desk Lisa was very nice and gave us several helpful suggestions. They were kind to let us know in advance that some unexpected road work was going on outside the building and offered to let us cancel for free if we wanted. The hotel and rooms are decorated nicely, in an "artsy" kind of way. We didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but it is offered. We are active and found it fine to walk into the city every morning, but after getting back at night didn't want to walk it again as it is a bit away. But there are a few restaurants close by for dinner (German, Indian).

Very friendly staff, extremely helpful

The air on wasn’t powerful enough to cater for the overnight heat

Friendly staff, convenient location & comfortable room

Poor internet

Lovely staff. Family run boutique hotel - we loved that. They provided us with a tip list for eating and groceries. Awesome people who were very friendly and happy to assist us. Even though the majority of their guests are German, they cater for English speaking guests, the reception staff all conversed fluently with us in English. Quiet, safe neighbourhood, just under 10mins walk to Linzer Gasse / Salzach river. The room was a very good size with a "lounge / sitting" area separate from the bed area.

Sadly the hotel is a bit tired and needs updating. The vinyl plank flooring in our room was chipped, the bathroom lacked sufficient lighting. The bathroom had an odd layout which could be improved - although it was functional. The jug for boiling water was a very cheap plastic jug, which is below standard for this type of hotel. In most hotels the rooms had a stainless steel jug. The TV was old and did not have any streaming capability. We felt as though everything just needed a update to bring it up to current standards.
