Good collabiration, understanding, reactive. Close to the Bologna Centrale train station and also close to the Marconi Express Stazione Lazzaretto (20min) to take the monorail to the airport. Also the room was clean, hot water, clean towels, it was more than enough for a short sleep before going to the airport.

Cleanliness issues and no accountability

Flexibility of self check in. Host seemed nice at first.

This is a self check-in place, so we didn’t actually interact with anyone during our stay — but the room spoke for itself. The room smelled like cigarette smoke the moment we walked in. We had to sleep with the window open all night just to tolerate it. After we checked out, I messaged the manager to let him know, and instead of taking responsibility or even considering the complaint, he denied everything and insisted the room was perfectly cleaned. No ownership at all. On top of that, the room was old, worn down, and not properly cleaned. There were specks of dirt on the bathroom floor, and my husband even noticed what looked like dried feces on the wall. It felt neglected and unhygienic. For the price, a basic level of cleanliness and professionalism should be expected — neither was given here. We would not stay again and don’t recommend it.

Noisy stay

The self check in is very comfortable function. We had an AC working, clean bed sheets, hot water. you have a bus station 10 min walking from the hotel.

It was very noisy, the evening we got to the hotel, there was a party downstairs and people singing and it was disturbing, it lasted after midnight. the location is very distant from the city center and there is nothing around.

Good

Clean room with bathroom, frigde and self check-in. Close to the airport for an early morning flight, you get there in 10 min by taxi (costs 20€). Good for one night stay. You have a bar/restaurant downstairs.

The location is a bit far from city center, if you plan to go by bus it takes 20 min to downtown, 15 to railway station. The stop is near by, but at weekends the bus is every 20 min. I would recommend something more central if you want to save some time.

I liked the ghost hotel approach. All very quick and easy. The staff solved everything through WhatsApp.

It is far from the center (45 min walked until you start to see some historical sites). I don't like that they don't include the city tax in the price here in booking, but that happens with all the hotels I guess.

Cheap and cheerful. Good location near the airport. Next to a gas station. Beds comfy, shower worked well.

No staff - everything automated, but this actually worked fine. Probably not the best for people who prefer a human touch!

Very clean and pleasant room. Easy check in process.

Located very far from city centre. Manageable but if you don't have a car expect a 40 minute walk each way.

Acceptable for a short stay

- I had booked this hotel for a single night, because of a concert in Bologna, so the place was one of the last affordable options. - The check-in was fast and simple since there were no employees in the place and the process is automated. - The place was very clean - Fair public transport in the zone - Air conditioning - Comfortable bed

- I feel that the relationship between quality x price is not fair, because I have been to places with lower prices that offered more - They need a more cheerful decoration, and lighter colors on the wall because the place feels a little bit abandoned/sad. - The TV was very small. - The location is quite isolated

Good

The hotel is run on an automated system where you don't actually meet the staff but it works well. The room was comfortable. Very essential but large and clean and the bathroom quite new. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. It offers free parking which is a plus for me.

It is a bit far from the centre of town in a position that doesn't offer much and surprisingly enough it is not well served by public transportation, which is generally very good in Bologna.

I stayed there for one night as I had an early flight from Bologna airport in the morning. I advise to book a taxi beforehand as I did not have the chance to meet any staff - I got there late and had to leave early.

If you are spending last night in Bologna and fly from airport tomorrow and you have rented a car, this is one of the best locations. From hotel it takes about 10 minutes by car to go to airport. Hotel is right next to a gas station where you can refuel and clean car.
