A great hotel to stay in due to the very friendly, helpful staff and the location was excellent.

Location and parking were excellent as were the bathroom and shower. We enjoyed that the hotel had a history that we could read about and relate to having visited the Village Musuem. I really enjoyed a little 'retail therapy' in Stellenbosch as the shops were so close by and it was the end of our holiday and did not have to worry about carrying the new purchases all around South Africa, Botswana and Namibia!

The room was cramped and had little space to put our suitcases. The layout was confusing to begin with but it was alright after a few hours. Access to the car park was not well marked but...we found our way down there managed to get out alright!

Great hotel, great location, but some issues with noise

The hotel is lovely, really spacious and comfy room and great staff. Perfect location in too, in the middle of Stellenbosch.

The walls between our room and the room next door were so thin, we could hear them having sex. Which was a little awkward. At least we were able to put the volume on the TV up! Despite this, we had a great stay and the staff in particular were excellent.

Fabulous stay in central Stellenbosch on the doorstep of the best restaurants and wine bars

Great location in the centre of Stellenbosch, with parking. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious - the air conditioning and wifi worked well. The staff were attentive and professional.

Breakfast was good, but service at breakfast was a little slow (perhaps because we sat outside). I would have liked an additional sachet of ground coffee in the room (there was only enough for one person). The ensuite bathroom was a little "tired" and in need of modernisation, but it was immaculately clean and spacious.

Room is a bit squashed up. Plugs are not easy to reach behind the bed, especially when two of you are wanting to work and plug computers in. No water in the fridge. I missed an important dinner in Cape Town because you don't accept cancellations and the cancellation fee is 100%!!

If you want to experience the hustle and bustle of Stellenbosch, this hotel is a good option.

Absolute perfect location, in the hub of town. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Parking, however, is a challenge. A good breakfast is included in the price

Quite pricey for the facilities. Im-the-room coffee was not refilled daily. Furniture and soft furnishings quite tatty and dated in the apartments.

The location was excellent. Could walk to our party venue. Loved the old school charm & the inner courtyard was perfect for our pre-event drinks. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were comfortable and clean and showers were large & modern.

We were not aware that the apartment was not in the hotel itself, but an adjacent building. It was extremely noisy into early hours of the morning. It was impossible to sleep in the noise.
