Located on a busy road but you hear nothing. Tranquility

Good enough, but overpriced

As the hotel is due to be renovated, they had closed their restaurant and breakfast was provided by the restaurant downstairs - Terra. The breakfast was really excellent. The bed was comfortable. The location is really central.

The underground parking provided was so small that it was almost impossible to get your car out unless you have a Very Small Car. There are only a few parking bays on the road, and the public parking area around the corner is not good for night parking. Saying that, the gentleman on night duty offered to move our car from the pavement opposite (we had parked illegally at the end of the day within sight of the hotel) when a legal parking became available which he very kindly did. The hotel is due for renovation by the new owners and as such the rooms appear tired. There was damp on our wall, the loo roll holder had fallen out, the hole not patched over and a portable loo roll holder was availabe, the silicone at the bottom of the shower was coming loose. So one understands that as they are going to be renovating they do not want to spend any money on upkeep but one expects more from the price.

Lack of adequate parking is a major issue. Only a few spots. You have to arrive early to get a parking spot. The staff try to help with suggestions and assistance but it is still a hassle.

Excellent location within walking distance of central Stellenbosch. Well appointed, modern rooms.

The location was excellent, situated on Dorp Street, one of the Main roads in the centre of Stellenbosch, vibey cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The rooms were modern and spacious. The hotel has a curb side cafe where breakfast is served.

Limited off street parking.

Needs some TLC and finishing touches

Well located for my needs

Restaurant was being renovated and breakfast option across the road didn’t open early enough. Bed was too soft, pillows and duvet lumpy, TV not working. Bathroom was clean but shower door old and seal broken. Smell of bleach/cleaning chemicals unpleasant considering there’s no door to the bedroom. Need a room diffuser or something to smell more pleasant. Cupboard door in the communal area fell off during the night.

Soundproof cocoon in a great location

The location of this hotel is excellent, close to shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff were also exceptionally helpful and always ready to assist. The room (Fynbos) was comfortable and I had everything I needed all wrapped in a beautiful soundproof wrapping. Plus the wifi is super fast.

The hotel does need a little maintenance and general updating. Some small things like sealant coming off the shower door, wallpaper that is starting to peel and light water damage is visible in places. And while the breakfast is tasty and fresh, I would have expected it to have a larger variety especially with all the bakeries around and the price charged.

It’s actually the second time we’ve booked into 107 dorpstraat boutique hotel! It’s very central and amazing for a weekend stay! The breakfast is amazing and the staff is just next level helpful and kind!

The parking in not ideal as it’s very narrow. We decided to park on the road and the night shift was so kind to have an eye on our car

Poor check-in and service by the male staff member. He was annoyed with me, even though I did inform them I will be checking in late. He also didn't follow instructions for check-out, and I was parked in, ending up being late for an important training and another guest being woken up. Another lady had to help me and run around. Will never stay there again. Hotel also not maintained with broken cupboards, chip marks and lack of attention to detail.

I had a very friendly reception, the room was clean and the pillows nice and soft.

Great Hotel, well located, clean and friendly staff. The lift was quite an experience and enjoyed the ride up and down. The breakfast was delicious and the rainy day contributed to an excellent experience.

Noise in the street early in the morning. This wakes one up and when on a business trip it is difficult to sleep again thereafter. The double windows is not making up for the noise, however the facility remains location wise to be excellent

Handy location to wander around Stellenbosch. Lovely, helpful staff and great breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean.

We got the room called ‘Oak’, which is located right next to the very noisy lift. Avoid it. The lift is super loud and annoying. The wifi was non-existent. Staff mentioned that ‘something’ was wrong, but after 2 nights there, nothing had been done to fix it. Really disappointing. Wouldn’t stay in the ‘Oak’ room again.

Friendly Receptionist that welcomed us. Good breakfast. Very comfortable mattress. 5min walk to various restaurants and bars.

Always worth the trip!

The location was great, always alot to do in Dorp Street. Also, the silence and the great attentiveness from Ches was great - take care of her, she is doing a good job.

Nothing comes to mind. I liked thee Studio room. Aircon gave us some issues though but, its not a deal-breaker.

We had to request toilet paper. Complimentary water was not replenished. The face towel, hand towel and floor mat was not replaced after being thrown on the floor. It was merely hung and dried by housekeeping for use. Not on!

The Hotel was closed when we arrived, we had to call a cell number and wait outside for her to come back!! the duvet on the bed was wet...they had to change it. The tea and coffee was not replenished the next day the room was tiny
