The location was good. The adjustable bed was nice for reading. The massage chair was a nice touch.

It did not seem that it was gone over very well. There was dust on a lot of surfaces. There were crumpled sheets in the bottom of the linen closet indicating that they had not been washed from a prior stay. My wife found a pair of crumpled panties by the side of the bedside cabinet. Ew.

Place not worth staying at.

Good water pressure of the shower, wifi easy to use, opening of the place with door code was easy. Freezer had a good amount of ice cubes. Nice total paper.

Every plate, bowl, flatware(extremely limited, only 3 knives), frying pan had to be cleaned before used as they were dirty. Difficult to locate unit. No hair dryer in bathroom. Bathroom mat did not soak up water very well.

40th anniversary weekend getaway

Beds, pillows, living room couch and chairs very comfortable. Kitchen had 2 coffee pots and plenty of cooking utensils.

Felt uncomfortable not having any kind of blind on the main glass entrance door and the little hallway not having a lock on the door, somebody came to the door and was able to look right inside the living room at what we're doing because there was no locking the little patio door and anyone can come right in and look through the main glass door.

The kitchen was large and open floor plan. They had many great utensils and items one would need but not want to have to pack to bring from home.

The furniture in the living room was old and not terribly comfortable. There was also a HUGE massage chair smack in an in opportune spot in the living room which was not “allowed” to be used but took up so much of the space. It should NOT be there.

The hot tub was the highlight of our stay

Our initial reaction was that of disappointment as it was very tired looking and needs redecorating but the hot tub was by far the best part of the stay and was in fact the highlight.

The interior was in need of updating and decorating as it was very much like it was stuck in the 1950’s. We did struggle to find the place so it would have been a big improvement if more specific directions were provided on booking. Another family arrived at the same time and were equally confused as to where they were staying.

Perfect spot

This was a great property for me and my wife and my parents. The two rooms are perfect for two couples and the beds are quite comfortable. My dad loved reading out on the porch and I was enjoying the massage chair(I want one of those now). Upstairs neighbor didn’t make any noise outside the ordinary. Big parking spot. Will book again.

House not cleaned did not stay, requested refund

Not much of anything

We did not end up staying & got a refund from Vacasa. The floor was sticky like it hadn’t been cleaned. It wasn’t swept, as there were multiple areas with food crumbs & debris on the floor. The fridge wasn’t wiped out, as there was good crumbs in it. Someone emptied the garbage but left an empty coffee creamer container next to it. The bathtub had dirt smudges all over it. One of the bedrooms had a tile missing with pipes showing. It was like someone came and made the beds & hopefully changed the sheets but nothing else. No view of the ocean at all, a little misleading in the property pics at booking time. Horrible first time experience renting a home. Like I said, did not end up staying.

Charming home, well located (short walk to the beach, etc), fun surprises such as a hot tub and a massage chair!

Very little to dislike! There is no laundry at the house but we found a laundromat a few miles away that was open late.

Bad

It was clean.

Had a few issues with the place, hot tub was moldy, fench blown down, no access to the deck. Contacted the rental company, no response. Contacted 2 more times, no response. Contacted Booking.com, they tried to contact the property management, no response. SMH. Booking.com has been good. This place, forget about it.

Nice house, enjoyed it very much

Loved the massage chair, cozy. Kitchen was really nice.

Only problem the hot tub smelled like bad water, sadly we chose the house because of the hot tub. We did use it one night, but not the next night because of the smell. That was the only part that wasn't as nice. I marked it one down from the top for cleanliness. Also would be nice if some trees were cut back so you could see the ocean.

The place was very nice, the massage chair was a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked, the cooking utensils were of the dollar store variety I suppose I understand, but a slight upgrade of those would be nice. Beds were really nice.

Hot tub was lacking upkeep, temp was not set and water was green, a huge bummer... person upstairs was really loud the second night, woke up my kids at 11pm, ended up having a really long night... cleaners showed up around 10am though checkout was at 11...

Best beds, but...

Beat beds ever! Perhaps better than home! Good location, although limited parking meant no visitors. With the unexpected snowstorm, the steep drive could have been exciting if we didn't have 4wd. Rooms were surprisingly big for a 1940's Beach house. Place was very clean. Directions were good, although navigating to the address did take us to the adjacent dead-end.

Our trip coincided with a rare snow storm, so it was cold! The house is very drafty, could see daylight around the outside door. Tough to get it warm enough to be comfortable. Fireplace is apparently only for looks. Refrigerator door hinge is broken, door will not seal or stay cold so we did not feel we could store any food in it. Outside security light came on constantly in the wind, shining directly around the blinds onto the king bed. Once we unscrewed the bulbs for subsequent nights, all was good. Very limited parking meant we had to modify our plans of having guests over. Overall a C+.

Will soon be a true gem!

You can tell love and attention is going into this property! Some of the rooms are complete and are very comfortable, updated, and clean! The bathroom is interesting and small. The kitchen looks beautiful but not much cooking supplies. Cleanliness was a problem but addressed right away from Vacasa. Massage chair was not for use by guests (then why tempt us with it in the living room?!). Easy walk to the beach, the state park, and the bay front.

Everything was great. But the jets in the bathroom bath tub were very dirty with black sludge in them so I wasnt able to use the jetted tub. Everything else was perfect!

it was close to the beach and the hot tub was nice and clean

the upstairs tenants played loud music until I called property management at midnight then they turned it down a little. the sheets on one bed were not clean and the extra sheets were the wrong size. the did bring clean sheets the next morning. the kitchen floor was not clean
