Location was perfect for my stay.
One roll of toilet roll in the facility. Some obvious deep cleaning missed. Kettle and iron both full of stale water for instance, fridge left with previous customer's items.

Location and amenities. Caretakers were friendly and informative.
Cleanliness of room when I arrived. It had not been swept or cleaned properly.

Location was excellent and my bedroom & bathroom were clean and comfortable.
The communal kitchen was not up to a standard of cleanliness and equipment suitable for holiday lets.

The property is in a good central location for Dornoch town centre.
En-suite rooms are warm and clean with fresh bedding and towels provided.
Would have been nice to have understood how AC worked and that you had to lock your room with your key card before leaving the room
The main purpose of the building is used for student accommodation during term time. However if the general public have use of this facility outwith term times some basics should be considered. Such as hand soap and bins in the rooms and the shared kitchen should have used of washing up liquid, rubbish bags , clean tea towels etc.
The shared areas ie corridors and kitchens could also have been hoovered and mopped and furniture in the shared kitchen should also have been checked for cleanliness and safety as the coffee table collapsed on our visit.
