Great location, clean but very basic

Balcony view, or rather lack of. Air conditioning was a portable unit which was very poor

A perfect place to stay to enjoy the sights, food and drink of this beautiful city!

The Ancient Courtyard is a lovely little apartment located right on the hi. Of everything we wanted to see and do in Como. Nothing is more than a 25 minute walk away.

The property description says it has a balcony overlooking a courtyard, but it is a very small area which I would not class as a balcony as it’s not large enough for a chair and table where you can sit with a glass of wine. My expectation was slightly different.

It is in a good location, right in the heart of the city. The equipment is good and there is everything you need. Communication with owners work pretty good but only via messages.

One of the stove didn’t work, it was drown in water, somehow, and you must figure it out yourself how to make it to work, but once you figure it out, it’s ok. And the ground was not very clean, but not problem for me.

Centrally located in the old town, very convenient for the lake, the Duomo and other places of interest. Apartment was spacious and well equipped, with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Bed was large and very comfortable.

No shelf in shower to put soap, shampoo etc. The gas stove was difficult to light, especially with cigarette lighters which were provided, and, once lit, it kept going out. No information about Wi-Fi, we had to ring Giorgio to find out the provider and password. No instructions regarding rubbish: what to put in each bin, where to take it out for collection and no spare bags provided. Lighting in the bedroom and bathroom a bit dim (but good, strong light in kitchen).

In the heart of Como

The apartment is in the heat of Como, everything is close, best restaurants, grocery shops, coffe shops, the 2 station are around 10/14 min by foot. The apartment is really basic and old so I think the price is too high for what it is.. we paid €390 for 4 nights during winter time. It was enough clean and there is a small bathroom and the kitchen as well with fridge and oven.

Hidden treasure

Excellent location tucked away in a little backstreet, easily accessible via foot. Apartment was clean, light, cool, spacious enough for 2 people with all necessary amenities although we didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that aspect.

Photos on Booking did not correspond to what actually was!!!!! If you have 2 apartments in the same building - please provide them separately!!! It was very cold in the apartment. The floor was icy, it was impossible to walk without shoes. It would be nice to put at least mats next to the bed. In the morning, the boiler was working very loudly and woke us up. A large full-length mirror was very lacking. Uncomfortable shower. You are not allowed to reach the property by car, it wasnt specified in the description of the property (english version). Otherwise, everything was fine.

Property had a brilliant location in the centre of Lake Como with a 5 minute walk to the lake. A apartment that has everything you need for a short break including a full equipped kitchen if you wanted to use it.

The bed and bedding is uncomfortable. The door to the apartment was very stiff and needed to pull it very hard for the door to shut. Using Keesy to unlock the doors can be problematic

No nos quedamos en este alojamiento…

No puedo opinar sobre este alojamiento porque el mismo día de la reserva me cambiaron de sitio. Por el mismo precio nos movieron a otra propiedad que supuestamente era mejor y no lo fue.

La comunicación con el personal, respecto a que el alojamiento no era de la mismas características que el reservado pareció importarle poco, no nos dio respuesta alguna. Nos cambiaron a otro que estaba completamente a oscuras, ya que era interior. Mas pequeño. Por algo al llegar estaba la caldera apagada… se nos cortó la luz 4 veces porque no se podía tener agua caliente y algo más enchufado. Ducha tapada.

Estaba súper sucia. No habían limpiado. Llegamos después de un día largo de viaje y no pudimos dormir de la incomodidad que nos generó el desastre que había y lo sucio que estaba todo. El dueño nos prometió reembolsarnos la primera noche , por las molestias , y nunca lo hizo. Y ni hablar de que no fue ni un poco servicial , no contestaba los mensajes ante cualquier problema que teníamos con las instalaciones. Un verdadero desastre ! Me siento estafada , ya que no recibí ningún reembolso de nada. Pague muy caro como para tener tal experiencia.

Ubicación cerca de todo y en un lugar tranquilo De la cocina no puedo decir nada porque no la utilizamos ya que pasábamos la mayoría del tiempo fuera

Un botecito de gel solo para dos personas El bote de jabón de manos vacío No hay vasos en el baño para enjuagar cuando te lavas los dientes Las sábanas estaban rotas La casa en sí debería tener una buena reforma sobre todo en el baño que tiene humedades en el techo Si vas en época calurosa olvídate tienen un ventilador y un aparato de aire acondicionado portátil super ruidoso La comunicación con el anfitrión nula. No nos dejó la posibilidad de dejar las maletas ya que llegábamos antes del check-in que por cierto era súper tarde de 15:00 a 18.00 h de la tarde con la sorpresa cuando llegamos un poco antes a las 14.45h que la casa estaba súper sucia la mujer de la limpieza apareció a los diez minutos, y me pregunto qué limpieza iba a hacer si el check-in es a partir de las 15.00h Yo no recomiendo este alojamiento y por supuesto si vuelvo a Como no repetiría este alojamiento

Alt i alt fint sted og lokationen var helt klart højdepunktet. Der manglede noget service ift hjælp i lejligheden og nog

Lokationen var god, meget centralt og helt perfekt til når man er på ferie. Værelset var fint stort og det samme med badeværelset.

Køkkenet var ikke som forventet. Der manglede køkkenting, sådan viskestykker, klude, lighter til at tænde komfuret. General information omkring stedet og dets wifi. Aircon var heller ikke helt optimal da røret faldt ud af væggen så det havde ikke nogen effekt.

De keuken is enigszins verouderd, we kregen heel moeilijk het gasfornuis aan en de oven liet heel veel warmte los.
