About this house rental
The Lodge is a woodland escape sitting on 20 scenic acres of rolling hills, woods, & wetlands. Guests can take in the natural beauty of this property and enjoy watching deer, turkey, waterfowl, and fox. With private lake access with a dock just across the street, guests can experience the Lake like a local. Recreational sports abound: fishing, nearby public land for hunting, swimming, boating, and kayaking - there's even a prairie and woodland bike trail less than 1/4 mile away!

The Lodge was a very spacious building and our family was very comfortable. Dish washer was broken so that caused more hassle. Also small dining table for such a large property. Poor directions to the dock, had trouble finding which one. Spacious parking and comfortable quarters for entertaining friends.

This was our second time staying at the property for our cousins' weekend in Clear Lake. It's everything we hoped it would be again :) We had a slightly smaller group this time, and the space was perfect. I've only stayed in the main bedroom on the first floor, but the bed in there is so comfortable that we slept in as long as our little ones would allow. Everyone else in the house had great room experiences, too. No issues at all, and we'll be planning on coming back next year!

Saw turkeys and deer which was fun. Lots of room for a family get away. We enjoyed our stay with plenty of parking for all the cars plus a 2 car garage which we used for classic cars for the cruise around the lake.
