We had a fantastic holiday!

Excellent location for sporting holiday. Comfortable chalet which was well equipped. We enjoyed the convenience of having everything close by which is good for a biking holiday. The car with the bike rack right next to the apartment for example. Also the presence of Jacky Sport in the same building where we rented bikes was fabulous.

Le Lac Blanc is quite a distance from a supermarket and bakery so it’s important to plan for food needs.

Overpriced, dishonest, unhelpful owner – total scam.

Beware – complete scam. I booked through Booking.com and was charged three times the actual price listed at the hotel. The owner was completely unhelpful and hard to reach — showed zero interest in resolving the issue. The experience felt deceitful and dishonest from start to finish. Avoid at all costs.

Lots of wifi blind spots, and no explanation how to get wifi, how breakfast is organised, nothing. The worse part is the man in charge of breakfast and payment (seems like the owner). He is an awful character who literally threw a basket of breakfast bread and croissants on our table and got into a shouting match with another guest after taking about 20 min to bring one small communal jug of coffee on a counter for 20 guests waiting and being excruciatingly slow to bring the bare essential to each table. Salvation appeared in a few slices of ham and cheese to chew on while waiting. Shame that only after our stay we read other similar reviews regularly posted about the same person, because the property has so much potential.

The breakfast was good. It's convenient that the hotel has a restaurant. The view from our top-floor family room overlooking the forest and lake was quite impressive.

Staff was nice, blueberry tart was amazing, good for a base camp if you are into biking...

The Breakfast was very basic, bread, cheese, ham and yogurt. If you are into mountain biking, this is a great location as it is less than 1km from the bike/ski lifts at the top of the mountain. If you are staying there in hopes of traveling to Colmar and visiting the surrounding vineyards, this is a bit far out of the way.

There was very limited mobile phone service once we reached the hotel and while they offered free wi-fi, it was too slow to use for anything other than google searches and also did not extend to our room. It was difficult getting someone on the phone to confirm a late arrival as their phone service seemed to be in need of repair. We also had a weird odor in our room that we could not figure out.

Location. Great view of mountains from dining room, especially when there was thunder and lightning, Dinner was good.

The WiFi did not extend into our rooms. WiFi speed extremely slow. Mobile data and phone connection useless, I know this is France, not the fault of the hotel.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Motorradtouren

Wir wollten den gebuchten Termin wegen Dauerregens nicht wahrnehmen, da wir mit den Motorrädern anreisen wollten. Und obwohl die Stornierungsfrist bereits abgelaufen war, hat der Chef am Morgen des Anreisetages eine Verschiebung des Termins problemlos und ohne Mehrkosten telefonisch akzeptiert. Vorbildlicher Service !!! Das Hotel hat für Motorradfahrer eine hervorragende Lage, Riesenparkplatz, große und gut ausgestattete Zimmer, tolle Aussicht von den Zimmern und der Terrasse.

Das Frühstück ist gut - aber halt "typisch französisch....." Bar und Rezeption waren tagsüber leider geschlossen (Nachsaison) und nach dem Abendessen ist praktisch ab 21 Uhr "?Nachtruhe"- bedingt durch die Alleinlage in den Bergen.

Pas acceuillant mais bel emplacement

Belle vue, emplacement, chambre très bien, grande et propre (équipements un peu vieillot comme la chasse wc et cuisinière).

« Patron » qui n’en a pas l’air : antipathique, pas à l’écoute de ses clients, pas serviable, lourd, maladroit, qui donne l impression de ne pas vouloir être là et que l'on embête mêmequand on demande l addition... Nous avons mangé le soir. Je déconseille la tourte à la viande car le hachis n’était pas très bien cuit. Les repas n’étaient pas exceptionnels mais mangeables. Serveuse qui ne parle pas bien français donc difficile de se faire comprendre mais ne nous parle pas anglais non plus pour + de facilité de sa part. Pour sauver le personnel: une dame avec un accent espagnol nous a accueillies et était très correcte. Ps: si vous voulez aller voir le magnifique lac blanc, il y a un parking juste devant le lac pas besoin de rester loger. Nous avons logés une nuit en été donc ça a été mais allez lire les autres commentaires avant de réserver.

Het onderhouden het gebouw en het eten, ontbijt is sober zoals we hadden gelezen on de reviews. Echter we gingen het steeds meer waarderen, het gemak van een ontbijt dat klaarstaat. Genoeg om de dag mee op te starten.

L'endroit

Le monsieur à l'accueil ne nous a pas vraiment accueilli avec le sourire au contraire on aurait cru le déranger pendant sa pause. Le service au restaurant et le repas pas à la hauteur. L'appartement est très spacieux mais rustique. Le minimum syndical. Au prix affiché on attendait mieux. Literie et oreillers très inconfortables. Propre et bien placé mais pas à la hauteur de la photo qui propose en effet le logement au troisième étage mais qui n'est pas celui auquel vous aurez droit. Pendant le service au restaurant on a dû demander du pain trois fois avant d'être servi. Au check out le même monsieur ne nous a rien dit . Même pas un "s'est bien passé ? Au-revoir.". Il apris la peine d'interrompre son petit déj pour répondre au téléphone mais pas pour sourire au client en face. Le fait d'avoir réservé sur Booking semble avoir influencé négativement notre hôte. Très triste pour nous qui avions été conseillé par Booking. On a payé aussi cher qu'en direct et on a été traité comme des touristes de 2eme catégorie. Quel dommage. Sinon l'endroit est super.

Logement avec une tres belle vue ....

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour aux Terrasses. Le studio que nous avons occupé était très spacieux, bien agencé et confortable, avec une vue magnifique sur le lac et la forêt grâce à de larges baies vitrées. Bien que situé au 3ᵉ étage sans ascenseur — ce qui a compliqué un peu notre arrivée avec les bagages —, une fois installés, nous avons pleinement profité de la tranquillité et du panorama. Le lit était également très confortable. Malgré ces quelques détails, nous gardons un très bon souvenir du lieu, en particulier pour le confort du studio et la vue exceptionnelle.

Quelques points pourraient être améliorés : L’équipement était un peu juste pour un séjour en couple : seulement deux grandes serviettes et une petite, pas de sèche-cheveux, un porte manteau ou un simple crochet aurait été apprécié Dans la cuisine : pas de bouilloire électrique, pas de mugs ou grandes tasses avec anse (pratique pour éviter de se brûler en sortant une tasse du micro-ondes), un épluche-légumes inutilisable, et juste un fond de produit vaisselle sans torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle. Concernant l’accès : notre logement ne donnait pas directement sur l’entrée principale, et il fallait remonter un escalier métallique grillagé, ce qui était très difficile pour nos petits chiens.

Appartement panoramique avec superbe vue

Location de l'appartement panoramique au troisième étage avec une superbe vue sur le lac blanc. Bel appartement avec tv, coin salon, cuisine avec four micro-ondes, grande salle de bain avec douche. Lit confortable. J'y ai passé une petite semaine de sérénité. Petit déjeuner et restaurant au rez-de-chaussée, avec possibilité de manger en terrasse.

Il faut mériter la vue et monter 4 volées d'escaliers... Alors oui de petits aménagements pourraient se faire : changer le robinet d'évier, installer un meuble de plus dans la salle de bain, mettre un essuie-cuisine et un sèche-cheveux... Pas très importants...

Die Appartement-Austattung war etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Rustikal, aber gut gelegen

Die Lage ist bei schönem Wetter wunderschön. Auf fast 1140m hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf den See, das Rheintal, den Schwarzwald und sogar die Alpen. Man liegt mitten in der Natur und kann schön Wandern gehen oder Tagestouren unternehmen. Colmar und Burg Hochkönigsburg sind nur 20-30min entfernt. Das Apartment war groß und alles Nötige war vorhanden ( außer Wasserkocher und Föhn). Das Frühstück bestand aus Baguette, Croissants, Marmelade, einem Käse, einem Schicken und Joghurt. Alles regional und qualitativ hochwertig. Auf Nachfrage auch Nachschlag. Es war alles sauber.

Bei schlechtem Wetter ist es da oben auch im April noch kalt und kann schneien. Also alle Arten von Kleidung mitnehmen. Um zu den Apartments zu kommen, muss man erst durch Speisesaal und Wäschekammer durch. Die Unordnung (Ordner, Akten, Wäsche) dort schreckt etwas ab. Die Ausstattung des Apartments und des Hotels stammen gefühlt aus den 80ern und auch die Küche war sehr, sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Geschirrtuch gab es nicht, neues Klopapier auf Anfrage. Der Gastwirt war sehr mürrisch und wirkte abweisend. Er verstand und sprach Deutsch, hat dies uns ggü.aber nicht gezeigt. Wir mussten mit Französich durch.

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme désuet de cet hôtel de montagne. Le studio Bellevue que nous avons occupé offre une vue à couper le souffle sur la montagne et un bout du lac. Magnifique !
