Lovely stay in a cozy hotel

The breakfast was delicious. A great range of food and delicious bread! We sat on the terrace overlooking an amazing view. The location and view when you arrive make up for the twisty road to get there :)

Hilltop location gives wonderful views and a peaceful setting

We chose this one for it's location which is at the end of a dead end, single track road that zig zags up a hillside. This gives great views across the mountains and also offers a peaceful rest. The food in the restaurant was really nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My wife particularly enjoyed the fresh bread at breakfast which we ate outside on the terrace looking across a valley at the aforementioned mountains. There were saunas and a hot tub available but I can't really comment as we didn't use them. The bedroom was small but perfectly adequate and we didn't hear anyone else during our stay. We would happily come here again.

An exceptional hotel offering beautiful views and excellent food

This is an exceptional place to stay. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, we loved the calm and quiet, the staff were all welcoming, there was abundant information for walks and places to visit, the breakfast buffet was excellent and at night there was a wide choice of local specialities and wine. It is a very special place to stay. The rooms are simple but nicely furnished - choose a room with the view over the mountains.

The bathrooms are small but they are well designed to make best use of the available space and the shower was excellent, so no complaints.

yummie and comfy

this family business is a gem. people are very friendly and most of the food is homemade and really yummie. the rooms are small but comfy, view down into the valley. we stayed with our dog, who was welcome everywhere and enjoyed it just as much as we did

Établissement simple bénéficiant d’un très bel environnement

La très belle vue imprenable sur le massif des Vosges vue, la chambre simple mais spacieuse et propre comme le reste de l'établissement. le calme. le sauna très sympa dans une petite cabane à côté du bain finlandais. Restaurant très convenable et de bon niveau. le munster chaud aux graines vaut le détour tout simplement succulent! Diner devant le poêle à bois était vraiment très agréable.

la propriétaire juste aimable c'est dommage. le bain finlandais pas super propre. pas de claquettes proposées alors qu'il faut sortir à l'extérieur pour s'y rendre. On nous propose un verre pour nous désaltérer dans le sauna mais on nous a oublié... Au moment de payer même pas un petit mot pour savoir si tout s'est bien passé. Déçue également par la "fameuse" bouchée à la reine. La sauce béchamel était très bonne mais les 3 petites quenelles autour étaient assez fades et il n'y avait pas de riz de veau par exemple. Cela ne reste que mon avis mais pour moi ce n'est pas LA meilleure bouchée à la reine d'Alsace que j'ai mangé.

Bel hôtel bien placé avec un bon restaurant mais pas au niveau pour le prix

L’hôtel est bien placé et la chambre sont propres et le restaurant est bon .

Sauna et jaccuzi trop cher pour ce que c’est. (20€ par personne). Sauna pas prêt quand on arrive, pas de claquettes ou chaussons fournis alors que le sauna est en extérieur à côté du parking. Le personnel n’est pas très agréable j’ai trouvé.

Je recommande le Bouton d'Or !

Le petit déjeuner était varié j'ai un regret de ne pas avoir trouvé de la pâtisserie alsacienne genre koughelhof. La situation est top et le paysage magnifique. La pièce de restaurant est très agréable et le personnel très agréable. Les chambres sont bien équipées. Un peu de lait pour accompagner le plateau de service serait un plus mais avoir la possibilité de se faire un café ou un thé est très agréable.

Il manque un essuie main dans les chambres et les essuies de bain sont un peu petits mais c'est un détail !

Hôtel charmant perché en montagne, idéal pour démarrer les randos.

Accueil sympa - Situation superbe perchée dans la montagne à 5 km de Lapoutroie, calme assuré - Point de départ idéal pour les randos à pied ou à vélo avec fort dénivelé -Excellent buffet de petit-déjeuner - Restaurant à l'ambiance conviviale, avec repas correct et très bons vins.

Malentendu avec Booking? Nous avons eu la plus petite chambre sans vue ni terrasse, pourtant annoncée dans la présentation de Booking. La patronne nous a octroyé une remise de 20€. La TV ne captait bien que 2 chaines et mal 3 autres (image décomposée). Nous n'avons été informé le jeudi qu'en passant à table qu'il n'y avait qu'un seul plat: le baeckeoffe alsacien, savoureux, roboratif, mais un peu cher.

Excellent et reposant!

J'ai découvert cet endroit par hasard lors de la visite du de la bourse de minéraux de Sainte Marie. Un refuge (véritable hôtel) calme, isolé, dans les hauteurs. La vue depuis la terrasse où nous mangions était superbe. Très bon petit déjeuner pain encore chaud, jus d'orange fraîchement pressé a la minute, luxe que l'on retouve dans les bons 4 étoiles. Petite équipe sympa et dynamique faisant tout pour que l'on se sente bien. Excellente cuisine de terroir savoureuse et génereuse, le Jambonneau fumé braisé gratiné au Munster vaut le détour! Ne pas oublier de réserver, la table attire du monde d'autres hébergements et des locaux, ce qui veut tout dire! Je reviendrai certainement en famille. Pour les personnes désirant venir pour un gros repas festif, je conseil de loger, car les 5 derniers km route ne tolèrent pas d'approximation. J'avais demandé la chambre la plus fraîche possible, elle était parfaite. Parking très facile. On ne peut plus calme! Enfin, on peut voir l'attention apportée aux non fumeurs, en interdisant le tabac en terrasse durant les repas, question de respect. Les fumeurs sont tout aussi respectés, car de multiples espaces fumeurs sont disponibles a moins de 10 mètres de la terrasse et des chambres. Je suis encore fumeur. Ce système est parfait pour le savoir vivre et le respect mututuel.

Un peu loin de Sainte Marie, mais les routes sont très belles... Le repas est servi assez tôt, en tenir compte pour réunir des invités ayant de longues contraintes horaires.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Wir hatten tolles Sonnenwetter und konnten deshalb das Frühstück auf der Terrasse genießen: idyllische Natur, unverbaut.

Das Zimmer war leider sehr klein, keines von denen, welche auf der Homepage dargestellt sind. Um auf die eine Bettseite zu gelangen, musste man über den Koffer steigen. Kaum bis keine Möglichkeit, sich etwas auszubreiten. Man konnte sich wirklich nur zum Schlafen in dem Zimmer aufhalten.
