Central location is a plus and the not so spacious room still was everything we needed. Good value for money.
The fridge in the kitchen was very smelly, for me uncomfortably so. We did not prepare meals there, only made tea. The photos on Booking.com are from very long ago. The paintwork is not so fresh any more.

The staff I met was really nice and kind to me.
He’s English isn’t the best but he tried his best to communicate to my understanding. He offered to help me take my pictures and even found the best spot in the hostel for me to do so.
The place is very neat. No fowl smell whatsoever.
The accommodation is also very accessible to many tourists sights.
More like 45mins walk + train to interesting locations like the Praia de Matosinhos Beach and even 11mins walk to Botânico de Porto.
I really liked this place and will definitely book it again if need be.
Maybe the fact that the WiFi network wasn’t stable.
Haha! For me it was really an issue because I had mobile data.

The location was ok for us, there are buses and the metro station not far from the hostel.
Stuff very friendly!
The room was very small and it was very difficult for 2 people to navigate.
The towels seemed clean but were very stained and the carpet on the bathroom floor was a bit dirty.

The stuff, the garden and the kitchen
For two nights, I was. First night went well. However, beds are constantly swaying. And to my unfortunate luck, there was a man snoring loudly and moving around while sleeping on the bed beneath me. This is my misfortune, not a fault with the hostel. However, three nights later I made another reservation, and this time they put me in the same room with the same man. I requested a change, but they refused. So even though I payed for a full night, I slept outside the hostel.
The price is very height comparing to the value
