Clean, good facilities, easy checking in/out, comfy bed.

We arrived late due to flight times and upon arrival in room were thirsty- A recommendation would be a complimentary bottle of water with the coffee/tea. Also, there was no toilet paper in either of the bathrooms and there of us were in need. Contacted staff but as our arrival was late, they only got back to us the next morning. Ended up going on a walk in the early hours after arrival trying to find somewhere to buy items to make the night more comfortable.

Very well placed, great & clean bathroom. Parking (paid) available on demand. Right by a supermarket. Charming

They forgot to empty the fridge from previous people. The walls are super super thin ! We could hear the family next door very well. The balcony has no divider with the next room.

The heritage building is located in close proximity with public transport options in a moderately touristic area. It has good options for breakfast and dining around it. The room was quite big and comfortable, and had access to a common balcony and garden with the other rooms.

There was a very heavy smell of humidity and sense of mould in the room. It did not derive from the bathroom, which was quite clean. The bed frame and the textiles in the room (not the bedsheets) were carrying that smell. I addressed the issue to the hotel contact point via a message (I never got to see anyone from the stuff on spot), but they didn't respond. I have asthma and particularly the first two nights, until I could air properly the room, were difficult for me, as mould triggers my condition. Mostly I'm disappointed from the lack of reaction on behalf of the facility. I know Porto can be quite humid, and especially a heritage building like the this one can have its challenges with mould. However, I recommend to review and update the furnishing so that it doesn't absorb all this humidity and smell, and for sure to have better customer care.

The bed was quite comfortable. There was a nice garden area. The windows were double glazed so prevented some of the noise from the street.

The host wasn't there when I arrived or left, which felt impersonal. It's nice to have someone to ask about restaurant recommendations, transport and if there are any problems. I had been given a pin code for the gate and door which i couldn't work out so had to phone him. I'd asked for a quiet room but it was facing the main road so not very quiet. The toilet didn't flush so I had to fix it. The shower wasn't easy to work out which was hot or cold and there was an old rug on the floor which didn't seem very clean.
