I needed a two single beds room and Koolhouse had not received this request. I contacted them and my room was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment.

It was a value for money accommodation if you don't care so much for the facilities and you only need a bed for sleep

The bed was quite comfortable. There was a nice garden area. The windows were double glazed so prevented some of the noise from the street.
The host wasn't there when I arrived or left, which felt impersonal. It's nice to have someone to ask about restaurant recommendations, transport and if there are any problems. I had been given a pin code for the gate and door which i couldn't work out so had to phone him. I'd asked for a quiet room but it was facing the main road so not very quiet. The toilet didn't flush so I had to fix it. The shower wasn't easy to work out which was hot or cold and there was an old rug on the floor which didn't seem very clean.
