I loved my stay at Domus Duorum. The room, while small, met all my expectations. The bed was comfortable, the staff exceptional, the breakfast very tasty. There is a wonderful and peaceful courtyard as well as access to the kitchen. The location is close to Casa da Musica and it's Metro stop.

I felt very taken care of the entire stay. The host Isabella and her staff went above and beyond. They were helpful, had tips and local information, and generally made my stay comfortable and stress free.

The B and B is very clean and well appointed. I really liked the area - close to the Casa da MĂşsica metro - as it was away from the busy and somewhat overwhelming touristy centre of Porto and it was very much a place where people live. Transport is really easy and cheap by public transport to all area of the city.
I would recommend Boémia cafe, a 5 minute walk away, for excellent coffee and croissants for an afternoon snack.
An excellent and easy trip from Domus Duorum was by direct metro to the coastal town of Matosinhos, just north of Porto. This is a wonderful place for a swim in the Atlantic, walk along the seafront (5km to Foz and then catch the historic tram to the city centre) and to eat the freshest fish.
Isabel and Sandra are kind and friendly hosts who were always keen to help out. The breakfast was plentiful and they catered for dietary requirements.
I had the room on the top floor and it was quite humid so towels didn’t dry well but I suspect that the whole of Porto is quite humid!
