It was with in walking distance from the night life.

My bed was squeaky when trying to sleep. But still got a good rest.

Loved the safe location Staff was supportive and allowed earlier check-in Basic room but well maintained

Nothing specific. Kitchen could use a much needed upgrade in pans and utensils

Great staff, good location, hot water in showers, good price.

Noise from other occupants late at night.

Bedroom was clean and comfortable and really spacious communal seating area with games

There is zero noise cancelling through the walls so you can hear everything. at 7am the room next to us was being cleaned, the continuous dragging of the metal bunk bed frame on the floor gave us a horrible wake up. I understand housekeeping needs to be done, but at 7am? The night before that there were people talking and shouting in the hallways. We did not get very good sleep after paying to have a private room we hoped we would. We chose this place as it had a communal kitchen so we had facilities to cook and it was always an absolute state. Full sink of dishes etc, to then discover it's mainly the staff's mess. 1 day my partner found 2 mugs to make us a tea and the cleaner took the mug off him and said it was hers she then took all the mugs to make them all a hot chocolate!! He asked if there were mugs for the hostel and she said no! We tried to cook a few times and they either were using most of the pots taking up the hobs, had food left in the pots, or dirty in the sink. It seemed very strange. Is it a customer kitchen or staff 1? There is only 1 area with 4 female & 4 male toilets for the whole hostel. Our room was downstairs and we were surprised there isn't even just a singular toilet down there, but that wasn't the problem, it was when the cleaner had blocked them off at 9am when you're desperate for the toilet and there's no other toilets to use. There seemed no set time to close them, nor advertised close time and various times of day she'd put the cleaning sign out. 1 time she'd squirted bleach all over the floor of the toilets, but was doing the laundry! I've never experienced not being able to go to the toilet in a hostel before. Unfortunately my partner and I were feeling unwell so spent more time in the hostel than usual, so if you were out a lot and not needing it for the kitchen it would be OK for a night, if you bring ear plugs, or are the ones getting up super early :)
