Fantastic holiday home in a great location.

Lovely place, it had everything we needed. As we were staying over Christmas the owner had gone out of her way to put up Christmas decorations to welcome us on our arrival, which was really lovely to arrive to - it made a real difference. It was super-cosy and perfect for us with plenty of space; there were 4 of us but it could easily accommodate 6. Everything worked (not always the case in my experience!) and the place was spotless. It's a beautiful peaceful spot but also just a short (and beautiful) walk to Tor-Na-Coille in Banchory, a local Banchory hotel with a great restaurant and a lovely public bar. Also recommended is Mamma Mia's for pizza. And to work it all off the next day, a walk up Scolty Hill gives great views over Banchory and Deeside. We'll be back!

A relaxing place to stay

The accommodation was clean, comfortable and equipped. The area was really nice and quiet.

All the rooms were set up as twins, hubby and I would have liked the option of one being made up as a double. There wasn’t much cupboard space for food. The WiFi wasn’t great. We were up for a wedding and the morning of we all showered but the hot water ran out, hadn’t realised it was a hot tank system rather than electric showers.

Had nearly everything you needed for a self cater stay , clean and tidy and good communication from the host

Had a small child so would benefit from baby gate at top of stairs as living area upstairs but we managed to block it off.

Location was convenient for us. The space was good - comfortable for a family. The house was clean and tidy. Very quiet at night.

I think there might have been an exercise room on the estate, but I didn’t see any directions to it?

The party of golfers were all very pleased with accommodation, location and overall value for money.

Location was good and Internet was much better than others I have stayed at in Inchmarlo. Great balcony breakfast in the sun. James taxis were also very good.

we enjoyed our stay as usual, couldn’t fault the property only problem was the neighbour with the camper van.Pity you do

we stay there often when we are up fishing the Dee and like the location and the properties are great and always clean .

The man in number 24 was very rude and moaned about us parking near his camper van then he put up a traffic cone to stop us parking .

Very good

The villa was comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Everything worked as it should, and the price was very reasonable. Milk and wine left in the fridge, plus a box of chocolates was a really nice touch and much appreciated.

Generally clean enough, but clothes that were put on the shelves in the wardrobes came out very dusty. Bedrooms had no drawers, and bathrooms had no storage at all.

Lovely site and lovely accommodation, everything we needed for our stay. Ruth was great and kept us up to date on when we could check in and also local travel info for the road closures. Lovely and quiet and we had amazing weather so very happy

The key safe was a little tricky to get into but that was probably just me.

Well provisioned holiday home which had been decorated well for Christmas! Would stay again.

Tiny thing but a bit more detail on the accomodation being semi detached (I maybe missed it). Was under the impression it was detached but it didn't effect us in any way. Just a nice to know

Beautiful villa and great location. Accommodation exceeded expectations. Everything you could possibly require for a few days away. Facilities 10/10. The goodies left by our host were a lovely touch and enjoyed by all. Met the host on our exit, super friendly and knowledgeable. We will back.
