Borgo Apartment by Mamo Florence

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location was perfect, with several lovely cafés nearby for breakfast and the river just a short walk away. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay. We visited during a heatwave, with temperatures reaching over 40°C. While the bedrooms stayed cool, the living room struggled to keep up despite the air conditioning. That said, these were extreme weather conditions, so I imagine it would be perfectly comfortable during normal temperatures. The host was fantastic—very helpful, quick to respond, and always available if we had any questions. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, making arrival completely stress-free. Overall, we had a great stay with our family and would happily recommend this apartment to others.

A coffee machine with coffee pods would have made it perfect

The arrival instructions were clear, the house was big, with 2 bedrooms made up and the living room couch. The kitchen was well equipped and had a washing and drying machine.

Initially very hard to talk to, the number provided wasn't on whatsapp and they didn't answer my messages on booking. We had to pay 10€ per night for a crib that wasn't even at the property when we arrived. The shower rubber needed replacing as a lot of water came out whilst in the shower. After shower the property smelt of gas, we told the host in the morning and they only came in the evening to check for any leaks, we have advised that the smell was more present after showers for them to look more into it as it smelt quite significantly. No kitchen towels provided, the coffee machine needed an induction plate, instructions or keeping things together could be useful. The apartment key was quite old so we got locked outside the apartment for 1h as the door wouldn't open whilst the hosts came to check if we were using the key correctly to then believe us that is wasn't working and bringing a new key.
