Villa Teresa by Atlantic Holiday

Een heel fijn, zeer ruim en licht apartment. Mooi uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer en het zonnedek. Veel faciliteiten op het terras en een een ruime eigen parkeerplaats.

De 2 tweepersoonsbedden in de verschillende slaapkamers waren voor ons echt te hard. De 2 eenpersoonsbedden waren zachter, goed.

Very specious apartment and the location was also very good. Easy access, clean, calm. The chimney was great as it was a bit humid. You need a car to get in yea out, and expose the area.

Hele mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Grote villa (benedenverdieping, bovenverdieping zit een studio) met ruime kamers. Wasmachine ook een plus als je met gezin/familie reist. Alle slaapkamers hebben airco. Echt wel een comfortabele plek.

Het was niet zo schoon. Bij aankomst veel vliegen in het huis en ook nog kakkerlakken tegen gekomen. Betreden van jacuzzi wel beetje gek, je moet door je voortuin langs de straat lopen. Huis is wel echt afgelegen, niet op loopafstand van het dorp.

Sao Vincente is a stunning place to stay. The house was comfortable and clean and it was great to have two outdoor spaces. Check-in was easy.

Some things just took the shine off our stay, including: - cockroach in bathroom. - upstairs terrace isn't totally private as the upstairs neighbour's access to their apartment is via the terrace so they were coming and going quite a bit. Access to upstairs terrace is all the way round the side of the house, would be much easier if we were able to unlock the laundry room door and go that way. - they told us we might be able to check in early and they would let us know but then ghosted us on the day so we had no idea what we should do. We ended up killing time and checking in later. - lots of building work on the road where we were which was noisy, busy and unsightly. There are other areas of the valley which were much more peaceful and probably much nicer to stay. - hot tub takes 6-8 hours to warm up. Would have been nice for cleaning staff to turn it on prior to our arrival as we weren't able to use it until after day 2. - they refused to provide laundry detergent. Also coffee pods not supplied so we ended up not using the coffee machine. No fuel supplied for indoor or outdoor fires despite evenings getting pretty cold in Jan. - some kitchen utensils were a bit over-used and could do with replacing.
