Ocean Garden, 4 units by the ocean

The perfect loft for two! The location was amazing, nestled right by the mountains and just a short walk from a beautiful waterfall. The room had everything we needed, and we loved being only a few minutes’ walk from the ocean, local cafes and a supermarket. A truly special spot,we would definitely come back! Thank you!

The lovely spacious room with huge windows allowed us to see the sunset over the ocean. The kitchen was a cooks’ kitchen. Roomy with everything we needed to create breakfasts and dinners. Large refrigerator. A 20-minute walk to town. A little further is a new supermarket - continente - which had fresh warm bread in the early evening. This is not a swimming location as the waves are high, and the beach has slippery boulders. But we could watch the surfers from our window. The property is surrounded by vineyards and the front yard has a multitude of different types of plants. Picturesque and comfortable.

Attention to detail. Impressed that there was a first aid box, stocked, for visitors.

Think there could have been some tea bags.

As we walked into the place the very first time…dozens of ants, ants, ants all over the kitchen table, along the walls…oh yes and caterpillars. The owner tried to blame it on the fact that later on during our stay we put some leftover food in the garbage can…NOT the reason, the ants were present when we arrived Bed is hard as a stone slate, furniture is of bad taste Location is not the best The unit (flat) feels like and looks like an old garage converted into a rental place as a money making business Yet it was our most expensive and worst rental on all of Madeira, out of three rental experiences
