About this apartment rental
This Island Beach Condo is a Five Star, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, beach condo across the street from Indian Rocks Beach (IRB). A 2 1/2 minute walk from either the front or back door to gorgeous white powdery sand and the blue waters of the Gulf. IRB is a 3 mile stretch of beach which is located just a few miles south of Clearwater Beach (which has been rated the #1 beach in the US year after year), but IRB does not have any of the crazy touristy-ness of Clearwater Beach. Unlike Clearwater beach, which is a tourist destination, IRB is a residential community. There are no hotels located on the beach; it's a quiet island beach community, away from all of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to Clearwater if you want to hang out with the crowds. Wake up in this beautifully decorated beach condo and walk across the street to the beach and press your restart button, sit on the beach, take a dip in the ocean, collect shells, watch the birds and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets.
After Hurricane Helen, we have completely updated our beach condo with a new kitchen, quartz counter tops, all new stainless appliances, new bathroom cabinet, new furniture, new mattresses, new window treatments, fresh linens & towels, professionally decorated and brand new LG Washer/Dryer Tower for your convenience. This is a ground floor (single level) corner unit, with a front and back door. The back door has an area to hang beach towels and leave beach equipment. There is also a small deck with 2 chairs and a table for having your morning coffee or afternoon drink. This single level beach condo in a quiet area, 5 blocks from the heart of downtown IRB.
You can walk to good restaurants in all price ranges, no chain or franchise restaurants only local eateries, many family owned for 25+ years like:

Please be aware that by renting this property you agree to sign and return the rental agreement, to the host, The Rental Agreement also has a copy of the Beach Condo Rules. If you do not, your reservation can be cancelled by the host prior to your arrival.

This rental was immaculate!! Cleanest rental ever! We loved the proximity to the beach, plus everything we needed was readily available in the rental including beach towels, beach chairs, lots of condiments, paper towels… everything was available! Cheryl was communicative throughout the process.
Two constructive feedbacks that lead me to rate this rental a 4 out of 5:
1.) There’s a mandatory cleaning fee included in the rental price, yet at check out we were required to strip all bedsheets, towels, take out trash, load the dishwasher, clean bathroom glass door, clean beach chairs while staying there etc etc. what is the purpose of the mandatory cleaning fee if we are going to do all that cleaning?
2.) The mandatory lease agreement required us to disclose very personal identifiable information such as full D/L information, full credit card information etc via email or via phone, In this day and age of identity theft and increasing internet scams/fraud, it is TOO RISKY to send this pertinent info via email or via phone. That is a VERY RISKY requirement.
Other than those 2 issues, the place was simply perfect!

The house was just as described! It had absolutely everything we needed. Cheryl communicated well and checked in to be sure all was well. The proximity to the beach was another highlight. If we're ever back in the area, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

First, communication was top notch. Cheryl proactively texted us in advance with everything we needed to access the unit. We had a late arrival and we got in smoothly. This 2BR unit is in excellent shape and it appears the entire unit was remodeled recently. High quality materials throughout. We liked the little touches, like the wagon with beach chairs and towels. Place also was very clean. We literally had to just cross Gulf Boulevard to get to the beach in 2-3 minutes, which was fantastic. It was a great stay for us, and we were happy to be in a nice place with such a great location.
