Character house centre of Boulogne

Beautiful view. Attractive old house in quiet yet central location. Good price/quality. Tea, coffee present in abundance. Hostess did her very best to compensate a late entry which I appreciated.

NB the entry time, we missed it! Its from 18:00 and can be later. As walkers we prefer to get in for a fresh up earlier, so we chose wrong, our mistake. Might be fine for you. Bath/shower is behind a screen in same room, which is ok for couples.

Superb

Perfectly situated property in spitting distance from the old centre. The room was simple and clean, offering excellent value for money. The bathtub is in the room, the toilet on a landing. You can brew your own coffee and tea (once you went out to buy your croissants). The owners, a young couple, are very friendly and accommodating. All in all: perfect for a weekend break.

Exceptional

It's in a private house owned by a very welcoming couple and their 2 happy little girls. They renovated with a lot of love and good taste a special guestroom with a comfy bed. There is a bath IN the room, a washbasin, a hot water kettle, coffee, tea and biscuits. Also there are lots of books in French and English. The room has a great view over the city and the house is opposite an entrance to the walled old city. It's about half an hour walk to the beach, but the bus stops in front of the house.

Location. Closeness to bars & restaurants. Friendliness of hosts. Quirky design of the room (with bathtub inside bedroom, and private toilet outside). Tea (bio) and tea/coffee making facilities in room and yummy cookies.

We hebben geen ontbijt gekregen ter plaatse. Maar er was wel de mogelijkheid en een bakker dichtbij om je eigen ontbijt te voorzien.

zou het niet weten ,de eigenaar was super vriendelijk. Het was er wel erg rustig in de nacht.
