What a wonderful place to stay! The specification of the barn was great, beds were comfortable, it was quiet and despite being on the owners property felt pretty private. Loved our stay. Added bonus was getting to meet their little puppy. Everything was clean on arrival and we couldn't have had a better new year's at the golden valley barn! We'd happily stay there again.

I will warn that the internet connection at the barn was pretty poor. As we were socialising together it didn't matter too much, but as a group we'd really appreciate a more stable internet connection were we to book again (we're a group of nerds and had wanted to play some online games). If you're happy being away from technology this really doesn't matter to you though. Additionally, finding the entrance on a winter's night was a little difficult, but we managed it fine with some help from the hosts
