Prabhu Ubud Villa

This was our introduction to Bali and it was fantastic! Everyone was very kind and attentive and made a lot of effort. The villa is gorgeous, it is like a real piece of art, with every detail thought through and provides a beautiful and tranquil stay. Breakfasts were super generous (and we ate a lot!). The secret banana pancake was a treat. The butter team was incredibly helpful arranging trips and giving tips regarding great spots to eat. We regret to miss some of them when we were leaving to say our goodbye's and thank you's. And our driver Dewa went above and beyond helping us out even after we moved to another location.

Everything was perfect with the Villa and Staff. True little paradise! More info than a complaint: It was our first time in Bali, we were surprised about the bad condition of roads and sidewalks. This seems to be the case everywhere in Bali so something to accept when coming here. But you get used to it very quickly and this is a part of the charm, so do not complain! Ideally, get the driver to take you everywhere and the problem goes away :)

The lush gardens were incredible!!! Peaceful and secluded surroundings. Gentle and helpful staff members. Truly, Heaven on Earth…

I can’t fault anything.

The location is excellent, tucked away down a long driveway beside rice paddies and a yoga studio, which gave it a peaceful and secluded feel while still being conveniently located. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The villa itself was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom, a comfy bed, and an effective mosquito net that made for a good night’s sleep. I also enjoyed the lovely little pool, which was a great place to cool off and relax. Despite those small points, the property offered great value, a beautiful setting, and warm hospitality. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Ubud. 4 stars.

One minor drawback was that the bath water only became warm rather than properly hot, so I wasn’t able to fully enjoy the bathtub. The included breakfast was also fairly basic and wasn’t really to my taste, particularly as I’m not a fan of white bread.
