Welcome to Casa Azul! If you're looking for a place with the best location and views in town this is it. We are just a 5 minute walk to Avenida del Mar which is San Clemente's eclectic "Main Street". Here you can find restaurants and shops of many kinds. We have a fantastic open air restaurant "NIcks", a delicious Thai restaurant "Mangut Thai" which has a beautiful dining room and fantastic food and for families with children the Baskin Robins ice cream shop is all the way up del Mar where it intersects with El Camino Real which is a great location for a nice family walk. Of course there are many other places to visit on del Mar so go walk and explore! This is the heart of San Clemente.
The casa has four gigantic 5' x 8' windows that look out the ocean white water waves and sunsets. The windows let in a lovely ocean breeze to keep us cool. We sit on the edge of a small canyon that has a great play ground and lot's of grass which adds a green relaxing feel to the casa. It's a wonderful spot for families. There are no homes behind us because of the canyon and park below. You can see Catalina Island most of the time. Just take our back steps as you head to the beach and the park. It takes only 2 minutes to reach the sand and beach trail. If you would like to explore the pier turn left on the trail and you'll see the pier which is just another couple minutes walk. The beach is sandy and the waves are gentle. We have a lifeguard station at the beach area at our canyon. We are also very close to Casa Romantic which was the founder of San Clemente's home. It is now managed by the historical society and is available for touring. It is perched above the pier in grand classic Spanish style architecture. We are a family owned and operated duplex. We have owned the casa since 1969. I have constantly been improving and up grading to make this casa a quiet, cool, relaxing place for all who visit. You will love it!

Casa Azul was such a great place for our CA getaway. It is a short walk down to the beach/trail and quick walk to town. We loved it! So comfortable with great views toward the ocean and park. Photos show exactly what you will get when you walk in the door... very homey. Victoria was wonderful to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. (Just an fyi for families with small children: this unit is upstairs. It may be inconvenient for transporting toys, etc.)We would love to go back!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Also the view is nice from living room and bedroom. Location is very convenient to the beach. Property owner was very responsive and generous with us - much appreciated.We definitely recommend this beautiful cottage and would love to come back.
