Perfect!

Although quite secluded and surrounded by nature and fields of sheep, this amazing little apartment is only a 5-10 min drive from Linlithgow Palace and other local amenities and a 20-30 min drive from Stirling and Edinburgh. It provides a comfortable base for someone who wants a bit of peace and quiet in their down time while also having easy access to explore the main cities and towns. The apartment itself is comfortable and beautifully decorated while also providing all the necessities needed for a great break away from home. Everything is catered for, with lovely little touches throughout, and the bed is very comfortable. The spa bath is definitely a must after a long day exploring castles and countryside, did my partners sciatica the world of good. Our stay from start to finish was a breeze and the host, Lindsey, was a dream to deal with - nothing is too much trouble. This was our second time staying at the little beech tree and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Hopefully we can stay again soon 🤞

An ok stay for 7 nights

Location and parking was great.

Spa bath spat out dirt so didn’t use again. Also there was a hamper with some items in and the biscuits had gone out of date in 2016 and the hot chocolate was also out of date, because of that we weren’t comfortable using the eggs that had been left in the fridge. One of the cups in the cupboard had not been washed.

Amazing!!

This was easily the best apartment we've ever stayed in by far - everything was catered for. The bed was amazing, all pillows, cushions and quilt were feather and the mattress was very high quality - just what you need after a long day of sightseeing! The spa bath with TV and supplied bathrobes/slippers was a great way of integrating a bit of spa experience to the stay. Living room was lovely and homely, kitchen fully equipped. I only wish it was cold enough to have used the gorgeous fireplace while we were there! Edinburgh and Stirling are a 15/20 min drive away and linlithgow centre is just down the road. Every interaction we had with the host was great, I honestly couldn't fault anything about the place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Will definitely be staying here again sometime as we love Edinburgh and go quite often so we've decided in future to stay here if available and take the short drive in to the city rather than stay in the city itself. Fabulous experience.

We felt at home in this quaint and quiet apartment. Close to glasgow and edinburgh, and a couple minutes to town. The interior and exterior are well maintained. The jacuzzi tub with television is a nice retreat.

The Little Beech Tree is a little gem!

When I entered the flat, all the lights were on and it was nice and warm. Such a lovely welcome to this charming place. As for the TV in the bathroom....fab!

The large bedside lights. As a solo traveller I read at night and the lamps were too big and too bright.

My mother & I absolutely loved our stay at The Little Beech Tree & can't wait to go back.

The apartment is outstanding furnished & decorated to a very high standard & very clean, with essential provisions i.e. milk, eggs, porridge, tea, coffee, biscuits, cooking oil etc were in the apartment left by Lindsey so there was no panic to rush to the shops. We were really impressed by the attention to detail in every area, the chocolates were a lovely touch making us feel really welcomed. The location was also brilliant being very close to shops, restaurants and attractions.

I can't think of anything that could possibly improve on perfection. There were leaflets about the area and a comprehensive folder full of all the information we needed to work all the appliances and Lindsey was at the end of the phone if we needed her.

We had a wonderful time at The Little Beech Tree. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, peaceful and just what we needed for our short stay close to Edinburgh. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has a very cosy and welcoming feel to it. Hope to come back again soon and stay for a longer period of time!

The location was excellent, quiet and relaxing. The accommodation was warm and welcoming. We were close to all the attractions we had come to see, there were some lovely places to eat close by.

We had to move the scented candles into the dining room due to a scent allergy, but ok after we moved them.

Absolutely loved this apartment!

Oh my goodness, we absolutely love this apartment! Everything you could possibly need or want was provided and it was situated in such a beautiful area too. The bus stop to Edinburgh is on the main road in front of the apartment complex and it’s also easy to get into nearby Linlithgow town. Everything was perfect, spotlessly clean, well maintained, warm and welcoming and felt just like a home from home. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Decorated and furnished with excellent attention to detail and very comfy. Exactly what you need for a quiet break. The out of town location was relaxing but also with quick access to Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow and Stirling. I would book again in future without a second thought

This was a luxurious sanctuary while I completed my quarantine time at the start of a Scottish holiday; beautiful apartment in a lovely countryside setting, with all those special touches that made me feel at home immediately. The hostess is kind and generous and always available to help out.
