Carvetii - Meg's Studio - 1st Floor, Dunfermline City Centre

Cosy and comfortable. Cheap and mostly cheerful little apartment. Comfy bed. Easy access to bus and train stations. 30 minutes in Edinburgh. Bit more than an hour to Glasgow. Some nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Close to shops, cinema and theatre. Kitchen was well equipped.

Inconvenient check in time of 6pm. When I enquired about an earlier check in I got a logistics tale of woe, however, if I paid 20 pounds a check in at 3pm could be arranged. There is nowhere to leave bags when you arrive as it is a lock box entry so either arrive after 6pm or pay up. Towels were terrible, very little water absorbency. Pot mitts were very dirty, appeared not to have been washed for a long time with congealed food stuck to them.

Great location near the bus and train stations. Easy access to supermarkets and shops. Close to the Abby and Castle.

No chairs to sit at the dining table - we had to sit on the couch to eat.

La ubicación y la distribución del Salón. Era cómodo y agradable.

El baño no estaba del todo limpio. Tenía varios desperfectos (rodapies caídos, suciedad de los rodapies a la vista, manguera de la ducha con un agujero que dificultaba la ducha, utensilios de cocina sucios...). Además es piso bastante ruidoso, especialmente los fines de semana, pues se oye a toda la gente gritar fuera (está en un lugar de tránsito y no muy bien aislado las ventanas). El colchón del sofá cama era muy fino e incómodo.
