Luxury Vatican Rooms

Beautiful open and very clean space. The rooms are large and ours had a beautiful balcony. There is an open kitchen space with a coffee machine. Agnese was super helpful throughout our stay from check in to after check out. Her communication was excellent and she was very attentive with any needs. Would highly recommend!! Thank you for a lovely stay we felt very at home. Close by to a bus stop that goes directly into town or a 12 minute walk to the metro downhill.

They have a big espresso machine and eating utensils. Place was clean and quiet. There was a small table and two chairs in the balcony.

Since there was not a dedicated receptionist, we could not leave our bags there on the last day of our visit, so we had to find a Left Luggage at the Metro Station.

Bed and shower were good. Fairly big room. Working AC, free wifi and coffee available in the room. There’s a mini bar, but it’s additional. Prices are listed in the room. Hairdryer is also provided.

The cleaning wasn’t very good. We put towels on the floor, because we wanted them changed (that we saw on the instruction in the bathroom). After coming back in the evening we saw the dirty towels were just hung onto the hooks again. The owner arranged fresh towels in the morning though. The second day our room wasn’t made at all and this was blamed on a misunderstanding that didn’t make any sense. We didn’t get any apology from the owner, only excuses. Not talking about changing the bed linen (every three days), but just making the bed and room like the day before. The cleaner apparently went in our room after knocking several times, but since we left the shutters down the person thought we were sleeping and just didn’t make up the room. We left the shutters down (not completely dark) because the sun was on the windows the whole day, the room was hot in the evening and the first day they turned off the AC while we were out. We prefered to sleep with the AC off. We had a small balcony, but no door to go outside. The closest metro stop is around 15 min. walk and on the way there uphill. If you’re not a sound sleeper, you might be bothered by noise of other guests (phone calls, talking, etc.)
