Waterside Lodges Cambridge

Peaceful setting and lovely view of the lake. Gorgeous animals too who were well looked after. Clean and well equipped lodge and thoughtful hamper on arrival. Games room also a great addition and we had it to ourselves every time we went there! Friendly and helpful staff on site who had the perfect balance of letting you know they were around without being intrusive. Would recommend.

Hot tub great first 2 days but smelt by 3rd day and no longer clear (we did shower first and didn't use any products etc).

We had a lovely time staying in Waterside Lodges. I can’t recommend this place enough. Walking into the living area of the Newnham lodge and onto the terrace felt genuinely luxe, especially after our 12 hour drive from the north of Scotland. The attention to detail throughout was thoughtful, including the arrival basket of essentials and fluffy robes for the hot tub, and everything was spotlessly clean. The lake view and the animals were a great bonus too. Special thanks to our host Sharon for her assistance during our stay.

Peaceful setting, great location within easy reach of Cambridge and Duxford. The onsite animals and the games room were a bonus.

The accomodation was lovely, really comfortable, the hot tub was fantastic. We were unfortunate to be there during the 33 degree heat so it was boiling and could have benefited from Aircon but fans were provided and no one can control the British weather. Showers were great.

Unfortunately there was an ant infestation. The first day it was very clean, and all fine, though we found ant traps so it's clearly a problem they are dealing with. We swept every day but could have done with being provided with a hoover or a dust pan as with two small children crumbs are unavoidable. Other than the ants it was really great, once they are dealt with I'd happily return.
