Nice location but not up to standard

The hosts were incredibly helpful and communicated with me effectively. They allowed us to bring our dog after a last minute change of plans and didnt charge us for him. They got us a slow cooker after asking if there was one. The location is great with local transport services on the door step. There are food and drink outlets also on the door step.

I have to be honest in my review as far as the aesthetics of the apartment are concerned. It is what i would describe as cosmetically clean. The fixtures and fittings were clean but the walls are badly marked with historic marks and drips left uncleaned. One of the blinds in the living is badly stained. The boiler has a serious leak in the cupboard in the hall which looks like it’s been going on for a while. We had to empty the bowl which was catching the water couple of times. I always take blankets for the sofas and chairs just in case my dog jumps on them. He doesn’t usually do that. I’m glad I did the sofa and chairs were marked and fairy grubby. The TV has cables hanging down the wall with what looked like some kind of set top box shoved behind. The balcony had quite a few lose boards which are a trip hazard and needs a really good clean and refurb The whole place needs some serious TLC and redecoration. It is not “penthouse standard” I am sorry to leave a comment but it needs saying

Undoubtedly a great location and great views too. Spacious apartment.

The keys are at the local shop which is at least half a mile from the property on a busy road with no parking. The underground parking fob (for which we paid extra) didnt always work. The lift also broke down and we were on the 6th floor. The apartment could do with being decorated.

Clean and very pleasant apartment, surrounded by shops and bars.

the balcony and views as well as the size of the apartment. It was extremely clean and the actual building felt secure. Right next to a parade of shops and bars which was very convenient . I would definitely recommend

The only downside was the size of the sofa, I think a nice big sofa to watch the tv in comfort would be a massive improvement , however this did not stop us from having a lovely time , it is more of a personal thing.
