    Very much like a Premier Inn in terms of style and colour but without the breakfast. Toby Carvery entrance is 50 yards away. Family room was good but 4th bed is very basic and only suitable for youngsters. Suited our purpose with free parking and good access to public transport to/from Liverpool. Was very quiet. Didn't see/hear anybody else during our overnight stay. Reception is partially un-manned. So it was self check-in by retrieving the room key from combination key lock, which worked fine. Just received the email with instructions for this at check-in time. Only room issue was the toilet flush, which was very slow for a family room. Receptionist did say some of the rooms are newer where this issue has been resolved. Known issue with the older rooms. There is heating but no air con. Room fan provided. Wouldn't have been comfortable in recent hot weather but wasn't too hot on the evening we stayed. Would stay again for visiting Liverpool.
