Beautiful room and the cleanliness

Great Kitchen and enough to make a breakfast with cereal, butter, jam, coffee, tea and milk. Nice outside area Close to the Rice Lane Metro

No sink in the room

The room itself was clean, modern and bright. The kitchen was well equipped. We didn’t use the rear garden due to dogs next door which were howling for ages. Very convenient location to the Mersey Rail station.

Our room (room 1) unfortunately was on the ground floor, which meant we heard the front door and hallway door open and close at all hours. On arrival I reported to the owner that we had arrived and that we could hear through the wall the dogs next door which were howling incessantly. I never received a response. Our room also faced the pub and the main road, so we had a disturbed nights sleep due to voices, glass smashing and sirens plus the large wheelie bins being were emptied at the crack of dawn, stupidly we didn’t pack our ear plugs. Also the vertical window vanes did very little to block out light, so an eye mask is an essential item if you stay in this room. We had no hot water in the bathroom sink and the shower wouldn’t drain as it was completely clogged up with hair and scum, so I cleaned it out and the shower now drains normally again. The hot water issue was also reported to the owner but I received no response.
