Mardika Private Villa

Our stay at Mardika Private Villa was excellent. The hospitality of Mardika and his wife was outstanding they genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible and were always ready to help. Kadek was incredibly hardworking and responded to every request or need almost immediately with a smile. The villa is spacious, comfortable, and perfect for large families. Every bedroom has a large bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool, beautiful garden, and large terrace were amazing. The terrace overlooking the rice fields was the perfect place for morning yoga, enjoying breakfast, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee while taking in the peaceful scenery.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything we disliked. The only small suggestion would be some general maintenance of the building. In particular, the first-floor bathroom could benefit from a little renovation and refreshing. Apart from that, everything was wonderful.

this is my second time staying here in a big villa, beautiful and amazing property with amazing caretaker, awesome view from the open balcony. very peaceful. Nice pool (thank you for keeping it clean), fully equipped kitchen, big rooms with big washrooms and bathtub, good shower pressure.

the only thing that i didn't like was that the last time, basic things like salt pepper oil sugar ketchup were made available in the kitchen, this time i had to buy them from outside.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and catering to your needs. The pool is great with a great relaxing view. There is a smart TV with access to wifi which is great for those times you want to stay in the room and relax. There is a resort with different restaurants and a spa within a 2 minute walk if wanted/ needed. The owner suggested an amazing massage lady to came to the room, we continued to use her throughout our stay.

The cleanliness, the bathroom has no window so there is no ventilation with black mould at the bottom of the shower. The fridge wasn't cleaned and had fluffy black mould on the seal as do the curtains in the room. I dropped something and went to get it from under the bed and yeh its not great under there. The staff do come to clean daily but its just a general change the sheets, stock up and mop only the walk way. There was two pairs of 'hotel' slippers left for us to use, which had been used before and were dirty. I also have an irriational fear of lizards, there was at least 4 geckos in the room hiding behind the slates in the ceiling, we advised the staff and they tried to rid them however the ceiling is so high and slated its impossible to get them, they just hide and walk around at night/ make their chirping sounds so I pretty much didn't sleep, we completely understand we are surrounded nature and in no way blame the staff but if you have a fear of geckos maybe something to think about.
