A peaceful home away from home – perfect Bali getaway

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. The villa was even more beautiful than in the photos – clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for complete relaxation. Everything felt private, peaceful, and perfectly prepared for a stress-free stay. One of the best things about the villa is its location. It’s only about a 20-minute ride from Ubud, which made it very easy and convenient to go into town whenever we wanted to explore, enjoy restaurants, or visit attractions. At the same time, the villa itself is in a wonderfully quiet and calm area, far from the noise and crowds. It was exactly what we were looking for – a place to truly relax and recharge. What really made our stay special was the amazing staff. They were so warm, friendly, and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome from the first day, and it honestly felt more like staying with friends than in a rental villa. After busy days exploring Bali, coming back to such a peaceful and comfortable place was a real pleasure. This stay became one of the highlights of our trip, and we are very grateful for the experience. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, private, and convenient stay near Ubud. We hope to return again in the future!

Perfect villa for a romantic getaway!

Very relaxing villa, it was a simple luxury for those who want to escape the touristy bustle of Bali. Staff is very friendly as well and took care of us. Very quiet neighborhood. Overall, great stay in Ubud!

Wish the property had a trolley for luggage. It was hard to bring our stuff in on rough road.

We stayed in Villa 1 and it is an amazing place. The staff are so friendly. They served a delicious breakfast every morning and the location is also amazing.

Lovely hosts, great facilities and a perfect home base in Ubud

Amazing from the minute we arrived. Lovely hosts who catered for everything I needed, instant contact via WhatsApp. The villa is lovely, perfect for couples. Very clean bedroom and bathroom, gorgeous pool and just a nice place to be considering the value. Breakfast is great and you can flex the order based on your preferences.

Wifi a touch slow and some may not like the early start from the roosters but earplugs provided. Wouldn't recommend for families as the villas are too small for more than 3 people.

The villa was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable. Staff are warm and friendly (Otta, Bayu, Eka, Agus), making me feel at home.

First stop on our honeymoon trip around Bali.

The most beautiful private villas, comfy beds, beautiful pool, and amazing staff that will help with anything you ask. Also beautiful breakfasts are provided. 😊 It is also very close to some beautiful restaurants and not too far of a walk to do some shopping, but it also gives you a chance to see how Balinese people live outside of the busy areas as you walk around the neighbourhood. 😊

Need to be honest and unfortunately the location was right next door to at least 2 roosters who like to have a crowing competition quite early and they sometimes have what sounds to be a few pigs squealing at the same time too.. so a sleep in is not really possible here without earphones, and I personally can't sleep with them in. Me and my husband also felt quite intimidated by two dogs that stay only 2-3 house down, they was not friendly and one day had tried to chase us down and away from our own villa. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Peaceful, private villa close to Ubud’s centre with great staff and a perfect pool.

We had an amazing stay at Kappat Ubud! The villa is tucked away in a quiet spot surrounded by rice fields and greenery, so it feels like your own private little paradise, but it’s still only a short drive or walk to the centre of Ubud. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day out, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help, whether it was arranging transport, giving tips on where to eat, or sorting out breakfast. Everything felt relaxed and easy, which made the whole trip even better. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind but still want to be close to all the great food, markets, and activities Ubud has to offer, Kappat is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great location, wonderful experience here

Our stay at Kappat was absolutely wonderful in every way and we were sorry to move on to our next hotel. The position is wonderful as near to the centre, without having to sit in a taxi for 40 minutes every time you want to go out. I wanted to try the tradition Balinese fried rice with egg for breakfast, which was very tasty, along with some fresh mango, homemade fruit juice, bread and croissant. The open air bathroom was wonderful, the bed was beautifully made and the staff was exceptionally smiley and helpful. This was truly a wonderful stay.

Great little villa with environmental issues that spoils its essence.

The facilities are quite new and very well kept. The staff were very accomodating. The private pool was great. The amount of space and idea around the villa is great.

Unfinished build elements, poor placement of some switches. Smell from the pig sty next door, rats running on the roof early morning as well as roosters. Breakfast was only just and served cold multiple times, my wife got a bad egg which made her sick for days when we got back. Maybe for a honeymoon 5 nights was too long there. Staff were young and tried their absolute best, always willing but limited by their management is what we felt. Hard to access with Grabs. A long way from Ubud central if that bothers you.

Beautiful Villa

The villa was so beautiful. It's actually even better than the photos and bigger than I thought it would be. The bed is huge and really comfortable, the stocked mini fridge was a nice addition (very reasonably priced), the noise of the fountain trickling into the pool was so lovely, and the semi-outdoor bathroom was beautiful. The bath is gigantic and comfortable and its made even better by the geckos that are always on the glass roof 😊 we also had 2 frogs around the pool which I loved. The other animal around is chickens. You will hear lots of roosters making quite a bit of noise, so if that will bother you when sleeping just pack earplugs 😊

Some people won't like that it's out of the centre of Ubud, but I think it makes it more peaceful. There's just not a lot in walking distance. But you are a 5 minute walk to the restaurant Taman Dedari and that is a must visit. It's also really close to the Agung River so after rafting you'll get back to the villa quickly 😊

Best part of our trip!

Oh. My. Gosh! My new favorite place in all of Indonesia! This was my 5th trip to Bali and first time at Kappat - I will be staying here again in the future! We were welcomed and greeted right away by an incredible staff that was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was BEYOND beautiful, so very clean, and quiet with all the privacy we wanted/needed to relax. We had a floating breakfast that was delicious and so fun to have in the private pool - talk about amazing memories and the best photos! (I will return to add pics) The sounds of nature are still playing in my head, and the bed was super comfy. This was, BY FAR, the best part of our stay and the price is incredible for what you get!

Beautiful Villla

The Villa was Beautiful and relaxing. Just as it shows in pictures. The bed was very comfortable. TV had Netflix which was great. The Staff was amazing and responded to all our needs very fast. A place we recommend and will visit again.

The road was a bit narrow for the vehicle but managed to get in. Just that there is a smell that comes time to time maybe from farm or rice fields that makes it a bit unpleasant.

Beautiful Balinese villa with exceptional hospitality

We were a couple on our honeymoon traveling to Ubud, Bali, and this rustic Balinese villa was exactly as pictured online. The staff—Nata, Baiyu, Gus Yoga, and the lady—were exceptional, offering some of the best hospitality we have ever experienced. They were warm, kind, and incredibly responsive through WhatsApp. Honestly, if it were not for them, our stay would have rated much lower, like 5 or 6, due to the frogs and frequent poultry smells. The breakfast spread was our favorite during the entire Bali trip, and the amenities and level of privacy for the price made the stay feel truly homely and special. The staff also arranged a scooter and helmets for us, which we highly recommend to beat the traffic, as the location is about 15–20 minutes from central Ubud. Despite the frog encounters, the staff always greeted us with kindness, and even provided us with a complimentary flower bathtub. Their hospitality and the rustic Balinese charm of the villa truly made this a highlight of our honeymoon, and we would gladly recommend this property, especially during the dry season.

Even in a dry season like May (with occasional rainfall), there were a considerable number of insects, specifically ants and mosquitoes, so it's definitely advisable to bring repellent. We also faced a lot of issues with literally quite big frogs roaming by the pool and the villa, limiting us from using the pool to the fullest extent. The villa location can be a bit tricky to find using Grab for taxi or food delivery, and we felt that the villa’s taxi service is pricey—better to arrange your own transport or use Grab with a clear location pin. Also, the road in is narrow with sharp turns, which can be difficult for larger cars or vans, as our private taxi dropped us off like 500 meters away during check-in. Roosters start crowing early around 4-5 am, and we could smell the pig farm very frequently, which was a bit unpleasant. None of these were major deal-breakers for us, but good to know in advance.

Absolutely in-cre-di-ble!

This place is a true jewel, I cannot recommend it enough! The Villas are absolutely gorgeous, impeccable, well-equipped, true to the photos. The team working here is fantastic. Always willing to help and support as much as they can. They have scooters you can rent with them and can also book a great massage directly in your villa. We were beyond happy to hear this is a small family-owned Balinese project, as it was important for us to support the local economy as much as we could. Ramly and his family have done a wonderful job to make these villas feel like home, so we cannot wait to return in a near future!

Beautiful and peaceful stay in Ubud / Bali

Beautiful place in rural area of Ubud with really great staff. We had the great luck to spent 2025 Nyepi Day here and it was amazing. Please be aware that the place is located a little bit away from the main street and you will probably need a taxi or scooter to get there and to travel around but it is worthy to stay there.

Absolutely Wonderful experience

Absolutely everything was perfect. This is a hidden gem. It’s very quiet apart from frogs cockerels and lizards but made no difference to our stay. We had the most perfect peaceful relaxing stay, the pool was lovely and the staff are absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us, Breakfast was wonderful, we went to a lovely restaurant a 2 min walk away the food was amazing (forest ) I can’t remember the full name.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!

The property is a bit out of the center of Ubud, which males it more calm and relaxing. The Villa is AMAZING! It is very clean, the bed is super comfortable and it totally respects the pictures. Also, the team is super gentle and kind, making the stay even better! They offer breakfast, but also lunch and dinner on request, and also offer various day tours to visit Ubud. Summing up, I hardly recommend coming here if you wanna feel the real balinese experience.

The only negative aspect of the villa is that it is a bit hidden and out of the center, so around the villa there is not much to do. But this a veeery small negative aspect.

Paradise on Earth

If you come to Ubud, please stay here. The team (shoutout Nata, Okta, Gus Yoga) truly made my mom and I feel like we were home. They made us feel as though we could we wanted to be, that we were safe, and that we were at peace, which is what home should always feel like. Despite being far from home, we felt right at home. Our favorite stay in Bali

This place is genuinly amazing. The villa is clean and private, and the staff is very kind and accomodating. We stayed in Bali for two weeks, but the four nights we spent at Kappat Ubud Villa was without a doubt the best. The location is in the middle of a local neighborhood a few minutes away from the Ubud center (by motorbike). Be prepared to wake up to the sound of roosters in the morning and make sure to visit Warung Kayana while you stay here :) I can’t recommend this place enough!

Super schöne Villa mit privatem Pool

Die Villa ist super schön, mit privatem Pool. Die Villa und der Pool ist nicht einsehbar. Frühstück war wirklich lecker und es gab eine kleine Auswahl, die man sich jeden Tag aussuchen könnte (A la cart). Wir haben jeden Tag eine Massage gebucht, Buchung war easy und die Massage fand ich Zimmer statt - wirklich entspannend. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Eigentlich nichts. Je nachdem was man erwartet, ist die Lage nicht optimal. Wir wollten lediglich in der Villa chillen. Hat für uns deswegen perfekt gepasst. Ein paar Restaurants waren fußläufig erreichbar. Ansonsten würde ich empfehlen einen Roller zu mieten (kann direkt bei der Rezeption organisiert werden).

Kappat villa ubud perfecta

La amabilidad del servicio, la comodidad de la cama , lo bonita que era la villa, el agua de la piscina que siempre tenía una temperatura estupenda y los desayunos muy ricos, sobre todo las tortitas de banana.

La villa es un poco ruidosa, para nosotros no ha supuesto un problema y la recomendamos, pero es cierto que por la mañana los gallos se ponen a cantar desde temprano.

Paradiso a due passi da Ubud

Staff gentilissimo, la villetta è magnifica e ci sono molti servizi disponibili a buon prezzo. Noi abbiamo provato il massaggio tradizionale balinese in camera ed è stato stupendo, cosi come la colazione. Abbiamo inoltre usufruito del servizio lavanderia, rapido ed eccellente. Struttura molto accogliente e pulita, il bagno all'aperto è bellissimo e lo staff è sempre disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. Un piccolo paradiso fuori dal caos di Ubud ma al contempo molto comodo per visitare i principali luoghi di interesse e non solo.

Perfect choice!

Tesis Ubud merkeze 15-30 dakika araç mesafesinde tatlı, sessiz bir bölgede. Çok iyi bir fiyat performans villası. Villada size özel havuz, açık duş ve küvet var. Villa çok temizdi ve her gün temizlendi. Kahvaltı yeterliydi ve her gün istediğiniz saatte villaya getiriyor çalışanlar. Çalışanlar çok güleryüzlü, yardımsever ve aile gibi hissettiriyor. Biz çok memnun kaldık. Herkese ve Ubud'a teşekkürler :)

In somma un bel soggiorno

La stanza era fantastica ( come nelle foto); I ragazzi della reception sono più che cordiali e molto operativi tramite whatsapp Mi hanno organizzato un massaggio in stanza ( molto bello) Cercato taxi per le escursioni ( il ragazzo Mari, molto alla mano e viene quando lo chiami) . Mi sono trovata molto bene.

La colazione era sempre la stessa. La posizione non ci è piaciuta . Dall’aeroporto abbiamo fatto circa 3 ore in pomeriggio . Meglio nelle risae( però poi non ci si arriva con la macchina, ma le strutture sono molto suggestive ) E molto lontano da Ubud ( e per via del traffico ci vuole molto tempo per spostarsi in motorino). La mia casetta aveva il sole solo la mattina, quindi la piscina era fredda in pomeriggio senza sole non riuscivo a fare il bagno.
