Amazing experience we will never forget!

We loved every thing! The villa was beautiful, the staff were so lovely and we had everything we needed. It was a 25 min grab/taxi to Ubud town but there is a beautiful restaurant 5 mins walk away if you don’t feel like heading out. Nana, the host organised a few in villa dinners for us which were amazing and we ordered grab food (like Uber Eats) another night which was awesome.

It really is truly in nature. We loved hearing the birds, geckos, frogs, cicadas and squirrels. Especially in the rain, it was magical. Worth keeping in mind if this is not your thing!

Exceptional jungle luxury with the most caring host. Our stay at Moringa Ubud Villa was absolutely incredible — a true luxury jungle escape with outstanding hospitality. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, offering privacy while still feeling very comfortable and safe. The private swimming pool was spotless, and the overall cleanliness and attention to detail were excellent. A special thank you to Nana, who was an amazing host. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed from the first moment. Her care truly made a difference in our stay. The breakfast was freshly prepared and brought directly to our room, and we also enjoyed a floating breakfast in the pool, which was beautifully presented and such a memorable experience. We also booked the in-villa massage service, and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had — deeply relaxing and very professional. Although the villa is located in the jungle, it’s still close to local cafés, small markets, and restaurants, so everything you need is nearby.

I almost don’t want to write this review because I want to keep this place as the quiet oasis it is! It truly feels like a slice of heaven, too beautiful to be real. Everything about it is perfect: the place, the people, the food, the logistics. You’ll never want to leave. Nana and her mom went above and beyond to make our stay flawless from start to finish. Every detail was taken care of, from delicious breakfasts to scooter, daily fresh cleaning and new sheets. They are incredibly warm and attentive hosts, always ready to help with any request. I forgot to book a late checkout, but they offered us an extended stay at an unbeatable price, which made our day completely stress-free. The best lunch and dinner spots are all within walking distance. Everything about this stay was simply perfect. Thank you so much again. I will most definitely be back next time I’m in Ubud!

Little heaven in Ubud

We were on our honeymoon here, they were super friendly, nice and clean haus, super breakfast, really helpfull! They also offer taxi service and activities for a friendly price. Best for couples in Ubud!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Moringa and would highly definitely recommend it to all.

The customer service of this villa is top notch! The whole family is involved in the management, cleaning and maintenance of the villa. They are super friendly, warm and helpful. The property is away from all noises. All we heard was the sound of crickets and frogs. It is very peaceful, serene and welcoming. It is very clean! I was worried that with the traditional Balinese roof and mosquito net, the room might be dusty. But i am happy that it was not dusty at all. The bed was supportive and the pillows were just right. We rested very well. We love that there is a private pool. The kitchen amenities was more than sufficient for us. The bathroom is big and with an open-air shower.

We find that there was no racks/shelves/surface by the sink to put our cosmetics. Except for shower gel and hand soap there was no other toiletries. The cupboard is sufficient but the space to hang clothes is only 50cm high, hardly enough to hang clothes.

The best hotel on Bali!!

We highly recommend this place – the hotel was amazing in every way! During our stay on Bali, we stayed at four different hotels, some of them more expensive than this one, but this was definitely our favorite. Nana created such a warm and friendly atmosphere that made us feel at home. The breakfasts were great, and both she and her cousin are incredibly kind people. The location was near from most of the activities such as rafting, ATV, and Monkey forest. Service was excellent specially from Nena, she is really polite and welcoming, also she helped us booking all the activities and recommended nice restaurants for us.

The breakfast was amazing! Nana & her cousin came to our villa and cooked for us…fresh fruit, fried rice with vegetable, and delicious Balinese desserts. She was quick to answer any requests, and set us up with rafting, which was also wonderful! Nana’s parents drove us to the airport & their company was lovely. This is a super family business.

Loved it! Kope, Made and the family are an absolute bonus!

The staff were absolutely amazing. Kope and his family could not do enough for us and are the loveliest family. Breakfast was also delicious and prepared fresh for us. The villa itself was secluded and romantic. The only thing I would suggest is while there is air conditioning, it could do with the addition of a portable fan to move the air around a little. Also, the bed is very hard and I guess we westerners are used to a little more softness, but that is a personal preference thing. Otherwise I would highly recommend! 😁

Lovely stay in the jungle

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was very cute! The hosts were so lovely and we had breakfast included so they came to our villa at our chosen time to cook it fresh for us - super delicious! It is in the jungle so be aware that there are animals and bugs, we heard all sorts of noises at night including scratching but it was all outside of the house as we were safe inside and never saw anything indoors (there is also a mosquito net around the bed for extra protection). The pool is very deep if you're short (im 5ft 5 and couldn't touch the bottom) and it's a bit awkward to get in as the first step is very deep into the water but we had a nice swim once we were in! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

Unfortunately the location is a bit difficult - trying to go out for dinner during busy period was a myth - no one would accept our rides! But if we made our way into the center in the morning we were able to get a taxi and then stay there until we made our way back home - no fault to the villa at all but just a suggestion based on what you're staying in Ubud to do, think wisely if you want to be closer to the center. We only did one day in the center and it was fine as we spent all day but rest of the days we had tours booked and that was fine. The other thing to mention was the water in the shower - for some reason it was either really hot or really cold! might have been something they can fix but we never reached out as it was so hot we were happy to have cold showers haha!

Relaxing time in our cocoon.

The villa is like be on nature, all sound around is relaxing. Feel like a cocoon . Easy to visit the ubud center with bike, nice swimming Pool. The staff were really quick to answer and fulfill all our request ( driver from Gilimaklnuk harbor, scooter rental, massage and even laundry) I even had the chance to enjoy a flower bath in the room !

The temperature of the water for bath could be warmer (I like it really hot) but that is just a small thing really.

We were warmly welcomed by Made who made us feel at home during our stay at Moringa. Villa is located in a secret location near rice paddy which was amazing experience. Made went a step ahead and prepared breakfast for us. The villa had all facilities and the fridge was filled with all necessities.

Budget Luxury off the Beaten Path

Moringa Ubud is a great choice for any adventures looking for a jungle retreat outside the hustle of central Ubud. The Villa was very clean and the pool was incredibly refreshing. As other reviews mention, the hosts, Kope and Made were the real the stars of the show. You will be hard pressed to find kinder, more helpful people. They were always available to answer any questions and provided seamless transportation to the Villa from the airport (even very late at night) and from the Villa to my next hotel for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a great experience off the beaten path, Moringa Ubud is the place for you.

No real complaints but a few things to note. Moringa Ubud is truly a jungle villa. If need a silent, fully dark room to sleep this is probably not the place for you. The noise from the jungle and the nearby rice paddies speaks to the area’s tradition but is noisy all the same. Additionally, the villas are accessible only by a dirt/rock foot path. The staff is incredibly helpful in transporting luggage to the Villa but I wouldn’t recommend Moringa to anyone with mobility issues.

Paradise

Absolutely loved everything about this villa. Stunning, exactly as in photos. Quiet location about 10 minutes outside of central Ubud. I fell asleep each night to the sounds of frogs and crickets. Very relaxing. The pool is cold and refreshing and the landscaping is beautiful. But the best part is the hosts, Made and Kope. They make you feel like family. Such lovely people. Truly the highlight of my stay in Bali.

Our stay was wonderful, just a 10min scooter ride out of the very busy Ubud. We could come back to our private and relaxing villa. The villa and pool were exceptional. Kope and Made cater to our every need, cooking our breakfast at the villa every morning and ensuring we had a clean villa every day. Kope also organised our activities and driver back home. We will be back!
