Great apartment, beautiful view from the balcony, awesome location near restaurants. Our late check-in was accomodated and check out was smooth.

The parking was for extra cost which we hadn't anticipated when booking. Getting into the garage was also a bit challenging if not used to narrow spaces.

Location of the flat is very good. It's not directly in the bustling part of Funchal but you can easily get there on foot. Many very good restaurants are close by and the view from the balcony is great. We enjoyed not having someone living above us but using the top flat. The flat is very spacious, tidy and clean well furnished. We had everything we needed there. It was possible to use the parking garage for a small extra fee, which was a great option compared to on the street parking. The communication with the host was great and prompt. We would recommend this accommodation and would also book it again.

There was bit of a drain smell from one of the bathrooms and the showers were slightly problematic. One was missing a shower door and the other one was difficult to operate because we had to pull the button out in order to use the overhead shower head which seemed counter-intuitive. The host helped us with that, so from then on it wasn't it problem anymore. Other than that it was a bit cold because the flat doesn't have radiators but this is mainly due the time of year we went to Madeira. It's probably very welcome in the warmer summer months. Last but not least, the otherwise fully equipped kitchen had no plates but I feel like this must have been by accident because it had everything else. Not a deal breaker at all, just mentioning it in case it's always like that.

Super Lage, moderne Wohnung und Küche hatte eine top Ausstattung. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich Und die Nutzung der Tiefgarage sehr komfortabel.

Das Doppelbett war leider für uns nicht benutzbar, die Matratze war sehr durch gelegen, so dass man zu zweit immer in die Mitte rutschte. Der Vermieter konnte daran kurzfristig leider nichts andern, daher mussten wir in den zwei Einzelbetten schlafen. Es gab jedoch nur dicke Decken für ein großes Bett die waren also jeweils viel zu groß für ein Einzelbett. Außerdem wäre es schön, wenn es einfach normale Bettbezüge gäbe und nicht verschiedene Lagen mit einem Tuch, der Bettdecke, und einer Tagesdecke darüber. Die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite sind eine Katastrophe, sie bellen ununterbrochen und man hort sie sogar durch verschlossene Fenster sehr laut. Dafür kann der Vermieter natürlich nichts, aber man sollte sich wirklich mal bei den Nachbarn beschweren.
