Excellently appointed apartment in a convenient location within walking distance of Funchal Central and surrounded by super restaurants, bars and convenience stores. Check-in was a pleasant experience with Mariela showing us where everything was and how things worked. We rented a car just around the corner at Ondas Rent a Car and it was so convenient to be able to keep it behind the locked, remote-controlled gates of the apartment block, for which there was no charge. We shall certainly return the next time we visit what has become our favourite holiday island.
