Be careful if you book seaview. You might end up with a view of a brick wall

Nice pool area. Nice room with the view.

I booked a room with a sea view but got a room that they do not even have a photo in booking.com and the reply from a manager was that they cannot put all the photos here! The room had a tiny window but if you pushed your head against it you could see the sea from the corner! What a disappointment! It was our anniversary so i booked more expensive room to share this experience with my fiancée but at the end if was ruined by the staff that could not give us the room that we booked. We booked like 5 months ahead and visited off season so i really do not know why we were treated like this.

Enjoyed every second of our stay

Everything! We stayed here for 2 nights during October when most of the restaurants were shut in dhermi due to it being off season but the hotel had everything we needed. From the breakfast to the pool everything was brilliant. The staff were also very friendly and helpful including Agle who was always on hand to help with anything from drinks, poolside assistance or just general enquiries was really nice and friendly!

It’s ok in the heat of summer but otherwise nothing special

There is nothing to do at or around the hotel, only sunbathe and drink if the weather is good. Staff were arrogant, heard someone being told off for wearing their bathrobe outside the room. Our room floors were so dirty that within two minutes of walking into the room, our feet were dirty. Bathrobe was torn, remote control broken. There is no bathroom in the room, shower is in the middle of the room so you have to watch each other shower. Impossible not to wake each other going to the toilet as the light automatically turns on.. no room device, no spa.

Great facilities and breakfast, but the negative experiences — especially the missing money — left us very disappointed.

The hotel is modern, stylish, clean, and cozy. Rooms are spotless with beautiful views and everything you need (except a kettle). The beach is amazing — crystal-clear water, very clean, with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach bar has great cocktails and very friendly staff; we enjoyed trying different drinks every day. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and a stunning sea view.

Dinner at the restaurant was disappointing: small portions, tasteless fish dishes, and overpriced for Albania. At checkout, we were wrongly accused of drinking two bottles from the minibar, which created an unpleasant moment. And the worst part — after leaving, we discovered €300 missing from the safe. Although we cannot prove it, it strongly suggests the money was taken during our stay.

Good overall, private beach and pool with no screaming children was awesome.

Very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony and a spacious room. The private pool and beach were lovely and meant we didn’t have to fight for seating every morning which was amazing. In addition the pool was quite large and very clean and relaxing. The beach was lovely as well. Included breakfast was very generous with lots of choices. On site underground parking was also great in the heat! Staff at reception were wonderful and helpful. They really made our stay special.

The staff was very standoffish and,at times, pushy and rude. Just not very friendly most places like at the front cafe. (However reception staff were very friendly and helpful). But service was especially bad at Sanur (the associated beach bar/restaurant). They spent all day pressuring purchase of food/drink on us then when we were ready for a drink at 20.00 on a Saturday and finding a staff member they all but told us to go away after waiting almost 30 minutes for service in an empty bar. After that we decided we would not be spending any extra money here and went to other places in the nearby town area. It is also crazy expensive and while the drinks and food were reasonably good it was not worth the price at all. The gym is small, could use some yoga mats. The treadmill just stopped working in the middle of my partners run almost causing an injury.

The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view of both the pool and the sea. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional—and it was especially helpful that they all spoke English fluently.

The pool area was a lovely feature and generally enjoyable, though during peak times it did feel a bit small to accommodate all guests comfortably. The Sanur Beach Club was a beautiful spot to relax, though it wasn’t included in the stay and required an additional fee for access. While the setting was great, I found the food and drink prices there quite high for the area—a Corona was $9 and cocktails ranged from $18–$22. The included breakfast was nice and offered a good variety, but there’s room for improvement in freshness toward the end of the service window. Going between 9:30 and 10:00 often meant the food had been sitting out for a while. It was a thoughtful touch that the resort offered a salon for guests, especially for the ladies. However, the space lacked the proper tools to do even a basic quality blow-dry. That said, the woman working there was truly lovely—warm, welcoming, and clearly doing her best with the limited equipment she had.

The property was ok including the restaurant staff was very kind and polite.

I didnt like the beach manager Endrit which was very rude everyday and told us that the beach sunbeds were reserved despiting the fact i had a reservation on the suite of thehotel. Recepetion told us that we can use every sunbed and all facilities in the resort. I dont recommend him working on that place, because hotel guests (clients )should be treated respectfully.

Great location, service needs improving

Difficult to find. Don't search for empire resort on Google maps, it will take you to the wrong place. Search for Sanur beach house. When we eventually found the place the receptionist stated that Google maps have put the location in the wrong place and they have requested they update it but this hasn't yet happened........this information should be relayed prior to your arrival! Bed was very creaky/squeaky. There seemed to be a LOT of staff, particularly at breakfast who were stood around not doing much. When you tried to get someone's attention however for a fresh coffee etc it proved rather difficult. We booked our stay, which happened to be over a weekend, which I think was a mistake. The beach bar was hosting Friday and Saturday night parties which meant service for the residents was very poor and not a priority. Half the time we couldn't tell if the beach bar was even open during the day or staff were just preparing for the evening. When we did visit the bar (after dinner in the beach restaurant) it was again clear that residents were not a priority. All the sofas around the edge of the bar overlooking the beach were empty but were being held for groups of party goers (who spent all their time taking slefies but not doing any drinking!) We had to argue to get a seat one of these for an aperitif before heading to bed (they were pretty much still empty when we left) Service needs improving but I hope this will come in time as it was a beautiful spot and we would like to return one day.

Pool was nice

Staff were rude, especially those who worked in the Sanur beach club at the bottom of the hotel. They got our food order wrong, try to say it wasn’t on the menu AFTER we ordered it and then took the food back in a huff and came back with the right order (so must of been on menu). No apology. Also wouldn’t let is sit at a table in the bar and had to stand up around the bar. Maybe to make it look more busy than it actually was? Very strange considering there was lots of empty tables

I loved the private beach/pool with drink service. The restaurant and breakfast was amazing as well. Overall a really good experience.

The gym lacked basic things like mats, an exercise ball or ruber bands. In addition, some things were broken so my training experience was limited.

Everything was perfect. We had dinner one night and all services, drinks and food were amazing. I would definitely come back and stay more than 2 nights next time.

I could see that the resort is expanding so it would be great to have a relaxation place with spa, sauna an so on.

Really enjoyable and great value for money

Amazing hotel, we loved our stay. The receptionist upgraded us to a sea view upon arrival. Amazing pool (which was quite cold as it was April 😂), and whilst the beach was not yet open as the season had not started it looked amazing.

We had a fantastic stay at Empire Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent – friendly, attentive, and professional. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. And the breakfast – absolutely outstanding! Fantastic views and location and suite, but lacks too many things to be great

We had the suite, the views are spectacular and the room spacious, quiet and with a great comfy bed.

- no restaurant to speak of - no café either - no cocktails served at any time, nor wine (?) because 'the mixologist is on holidays' - cleaning staff entering the room at 10am and waking us up for no reason - no vibe

We had a wonderful time!

It is a beautiful resort. A good mix of beach and pool enjoyment. Staff were very responsive and helpful. Always had clean and warm beach/pool towels. Breakfast has a large variety of food and fresh made coffee upon request. It is nice to have a restaurant on site.

They could offer a kettle in the room. The restaurant could be open earlier than 8pm.

Amazing option in Dhermi!

Amazing experience! The hotel is very modern with a beautiful infinity pool and also an amazing private beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast offers great variety and staff was always very friendly. If I visit Albania again I'll be back for sure!

The rooms really nice and clean

Exceptional

The breakfast was expansive and delicious! The customer service was incredible and they were very flexible and understanding with our change of travel plans. We were amazed by the private beach and how relaxing it was! In town the beaches are beautiful but crowded. At Empire it felt like we had our own special oasis!

Decent hotel, but needs to work on their staff and customer service.

The building in itself is beautiful. Nice furniture and decor. The beach is very nice. When you are swimming in the ocean and look back at the hotel, you see the beautiful mountains behind the hotel. Stunning. The rooms were nice and clean. Basement parking.

The breakfast was not great. It felt like a budget hotel breakfast buffet. The restaurant. The food was just ok, way overpriced. Every time we went there were a minimum of 5 dishes they didn’t have on the menu. Sanur Restaurant staff. They mostly looked at their phones, made no eye contact and gave you the impression they were annoyed by anything you said. One staff member from the beach bar was particularly rude - replying with passive aggressive comments to our questions. All in all, I think the management and staff really needs some training to have better processes and customer service. If they market themselves as a 5 star hotel, that needs to be evident in more than just the facilities.
