We had a wonderful stay at D&D Homestay thanks to the warm hospitality of our hosts.

The property was conveniently situated for our departure to Lombok via Ferry the next morning. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Room was small but adequate for a one night stay.

Lovely accommodation at a great price! It’s close to the ferry port to Lombok and other islands. Breakfast was included and really tasty – definitely try their fried noodles, they were delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend – if we ever come back to this area, we’d definitely stay here again! 🌺

D&D home stay provided a unique insight into the Serongan island experience. Very calm and relaxing environment with kind staff. The clean and cool pool was much appreciated after a long day of travel.

The breakfast was quite basic and while the bed looked firm, it was actually very comfortable.

Sweet, clean apartment with little outdoor garden and pool. Fantastic location for ferry. Very helpful and friendly host who also dropped us off for the ferry. Breakfast good.

Home away from Home

Staff and owner were so helpfull and Serangan is lovely and quiet area, with access to lots of seafood restaurants, short boat trip to surf breaks. My daughter favorite was the Turtle sanctuary, she got to adopt and release Turtles out in the ocean , lovely experience.

Staff went above and beyond- great place for a short stay. Very comfy and clean rooms.

The staff here were amazing and the location compared to where we were attending a workshop was great. The owners will do anything to help and accommodate you. I would absolutely stay here again.

There wasn’t much room outside of the room, and people would be talking at a table just outside our room occasionally.

Kind Hostess and working staff to stay with again.

The Hostess is very friendly, Who send me a driver to pick me up from airport. Who exchange local currency for me with better exchange rate than Airport. The working staff Koman is very helpful to bring me and my daughter to join the sea activities and bring me to the nice restaurant for Lunch and to the beach restaurant of Jimbaran to see the nice sunset.

Better to prepare some equipment to drive the mosquito away.

Pick up from Airport. Transfer to Ferry, nice and close to Ferry (fastboat). Friendly and accommodating. Good communication pre arrival. Happy to help you book your ferry for your island stay

Know your rates for road and sea transport, if not do your homework. Grab is obviously much cheaper and booking the boat cheaper if you do it yourself, but you are paying for a personalised experience with good English-speaking people, that can take the stress out of the nitty gritty of the bookings so you can just turn up and enjoy your holiday.

A peaceful, well-kept place with incredibly kind staff

Everything was clean, well-maintained, and wonderfully peaceful, such a quiet and relaxing place to stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always going the extra mile with a smile. They quickly arranged drivers and tours, dropped us off at the port, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended for a calm, stress-free getaway.

Great location for Island transfers.

We chose the property because it was close to the Fastboat Harbour. The staff were very friendly and provided breakfast and transport to the Harbour in the morning.

Friendly staff and excellent value!

Staff were amazing and helped us out on every level, nothing was too difficult. Value for money is exceptional. We required an extra night due to last minute flight cancellation and D & D made this so easy for us and removed any stress. Very happy and thank you.

Bed is quite hard, but that's just my opinion.

Lovely new and very clean rooms, very quiet. Owner so helpfull, booking my fastboat to Lombok, organised surf guide. Its really off the beaten track. Very cheap taxi 11aussie dollars airport to hotel with booking.com

It’s a beautiful property, small, clean and perfect location near the port.Emy and her staff were attentive and lovely. Definitely recommend to stay prior to visiting other islands plus they can sort out your transfer tickets and drop you off at the port.

A modest establishment that is value for money. Amy is an extremely good host always ready to help with any guest requests. She provided me with a driver (Komang) who took care of all transport and tour guide needs, making sure I had a wonderful holiday.

Perhaps few more amenities such as additional toiletries for guest to purchase would be welcome.

The hosts are lovely and make you feel at home, most helpful and engaging! Easy access to Penida Island, Sanur and Denpasar (including airport). There is a shared fridge and outdoor kitchen, pool to cool down and some nice local seafood warungs.

Transport and dining out options are more limited. The school next door.

Best spot to stay to get to Gili Islands, great hospitality and delicious freah seafood.

The most wonderful hospitality, Emi and her team were the perfect start to our Indonesian adventure. We flew in and spent the first night with D &D, we were picked up from the airport, EMI arranged our ferry tickets to Gili Air and had the most amazing fresh fish at the restaurant served outside our room. It felt like a villa experience with a budget. Best fish, crabs and pipis and at local price. I highly recommend ♥️

Great for what we required

The breakfast was good and the location was excellent for us as we were catching the boat to the Gili Islands the next morning. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. This is an ideal stopover before the boat.

I would have liked a top sheet on my bed. There was a bottom sheet and a light blanket. No coffee/tea making facilities and no fridge. Very basic but clean and just what we needed for one night of flying in and leaving the next morning. If you were to stay a few days, you would need some refrigeration at least.

A little slice of paradise right in southern Bali.

The property was beautiful, but the family was even moreso. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. They were friendly, attentive and over-the-top accommodating. We enjoyed our time at D & D so much we are already looking forward to our return in two weeks.
