Welcome to our beach house #231 at Kiahuna Plantation! Get ready to relax and enjoy this updated and spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo on Kauai’s sunny south shore. Savor the cool, calming trade winds, in this top floor-corner unit after a long day of exploring all the leisure, hiking, and water sport activities of beautiful Poipu beach. Kiahuna is considered the area’s premier beach-front rental property, the only resort in Poipu with its own white sand beach and Hawaii’s largest orchid garden.
Nestled on the 35 acres of immaculately styled beachfront gardens of Kiahuna Plantation, this classic plantation style condo has everything you need for a fun and relaxing island vacation. #231 features an open remodeled living area, with vaulted ceilings, granite countertops, and new appliances. The large lanai tucked away in a sprawling Monkeypod tree, offers privacy to guests and is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, lose yourself in your favorite novel, or experience the romantic Hawaiian sunset. Unwind after a long day in a beautifully renovated spa-like shower complete with all the amenities of home. This bright, clean and well-appointed unit has everything you need to rejuvenate after a full day of experiencing everything Kauai has to offer. All the rooms have louvered windows and doors which lets the breeze pass right through.
Kiahuna’s beach is a quick walk through the beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a manicured lawn dotted with palm trees fronting the beach and that is where you will find the Beach Hut which provides complimentary beach chairs and towels. The Hut also offers snacks and rentals of various beach toys. The beach is fairly private and it is used mostly by people staying at Kiahuna. It connects to Poipu Beach which has more activity and good snorkeling. Poipu was rated #1 by The Travel Channel and has been chosen as one of the most beautiful beaches in America.
On-site management is provided, staffed 24 hours a day. You check in like a hotel, and the friendly staff is always available to help with things to do, directions and reservations. Guests have full complimentary access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (right across the street) with aerobic equipment, weight training machines, tennis courts, classes and an awesome pool. Kiahuna has a laundry facility on the grounds near the condo.
This amazing beachfront property is just steps away from sandy beaches, snorkeling, surfing, and restaurants. Kiahuna Plantation is the ideal location to explore Kauai’s world class hiking, championship golf, and kayak tours. It is easy to see why we chose to call this place our second home. - 14.42% Hawaii Taxes not included in rate
- $268+ tax Checkout Cleaning Fee is additional and required by the resort. Reservations booked prior to 1/1/24 will pay fee directly to the resort at check in.
- For each 10 night stay, a mid-week “refresh” of $54+ tax is required by the resort.
- Additional housekeeping services available upon request for an additional fee
- 3 night minimum unless it fits between other reservations.

Our 4th time at Kiahuna plantation, and it was great! My teen daughters enjoyed swimming and sunsets, as well as close by fruit stands! The place had everything to make meals and was close enough to many restaurants when we did not want to cook!

Kiahuna Plantation is my favorite place to stay on Kauai, and this condo was the best out of the three I’ve rented. It’s very comfortable and nicely decorated. I also loved looking out at the monkeypod tree, and I appreciated its location within the complex (easy parking just in front and directly across the street from the Poipu Shopping Village with its many shops and eating options.). The property management’s maintenance people were very prompt and helpful with two minor issues. I would be happy to return (at least for as long as I can manage three flights of stairs!)

We enjoyed the location. Close walk over to the beach and across the street to the shopping center and athletic club. Our only slight dislike was the stairs especially with beach gear, luggage, etc. which is why I gave 4 stars for location. It was a very peaceful location so that offsets the stairs! We loved hearing the breeze and the rain through the night. We’d rent again.
