Sunset Hotel

Absolutely lovely hotel and staff. Stayed while visiting family nearby. Recommend 100%. Great views and ice cold AC.

The hotel was superbly clean, two young ladies were doing amazing job cleaning the rooms. The hotel position was more beneficial in comparison to others - slightly up from the main promenade road. The market and the bakery were just next door.

Just a little suggestion - the room could benefit with tea cups. Having a kettle but not the cups doesn’t make sense. The restaurant staff should read the recipe how to make Aperol Spritz - the ones we were served were undrinkable. The beach - sunbed prices were increased without any notice on the 15th June (I presume due to the high season starting). The first row price has gone up from 20 to 25 euros. The sunbeds would benefit from being wiped and cleaned regularly - some were covered with oily sunscreens smears. The beach actually is not for the hotel customers only and being used by the general public, the amount of people on the beach on the second week was insane - too loud, lot of rubbish left behind. Smoking! People were smoking everywhere, leaving cigarets stubs in the sand. When it got busier the feeling was like we were sitting in the middle of the ashtray, not on the beach. The same applies to the restaurants and any public areas. Smoking is ripe everywhere in Montenegro, not surprisingly the country is in the first top 10 for lung cancer. The location in general (not exactly our hotel related) - we were looking for the quiet place with no touristy attractions and Dobra Voda came up as an option. Unfortunately, it was not the case when the season started - the place is too small for that many hotels and apartments which were build up recently. There are more being build up, so I suspect there will be even more people per square metre of not very big beach. It just can’t accommodate that load. So, if you are looking for the quiet relaxing holiday either visit before June or from September.

Excellent location, the beach is right across the hotel. Breakfast was great!

Streets leading to hotel are quite narrow, so it is a bit complicated to reach the parking,, but that is something that is a general problem.

Iz nekog razloga u sobi su nas zatekla samo 2 jastuka, dok je soba za 4 osobe, takođe nas je sačekao samo 1 čaršaf za krevet. Nedopustivo za hotel ovog ranga i plaćenu cenu.
